Company culture,very excellent office, very systematic, job security is high. Training period was awesome. As a first company, i will suggest infosys. There is no lay off. They will protect the employees and families and moreover u will be able to learn more. They have some plateform also where we can learn and do its certifications and these are highly encouraged by the manager too....Read More

Dislikes deoends on projects and team actually. For me i was a part of a big project , in that the support was low and there is no work life balance. Its like work continuously and if u have time enjoy ur life. They will tell u to do everything instead of dividing it. Because the other developers will be weak. So other than passing the knowledge they will ask me to do it. There is no appreciation or appraisal but yes this also depends on manager, we will get appreciation on year end rating. Hike is very low. And hike depends on rating too. But yes they won't give much. Max 4 or 5k. The role change is also depending on manager. For periodic role changes there wont be any big hike only 1.5 k something. From sse to ta. Most of the things depends on manager and the project. I have some froends who is working from dc in dc project they are very happy about infosys. So just give a try, if u are getting good projct and a nice manager and a good team u will be doing great in infosys. About learning if u have time there are so many option within infosys where there is certifications too....Read More

The training was supposed to be the best in the world but it was terrible. The trainers were sub par and everything was rushed. Infosys gave me decent exposure to foreign clients and handling clients on a daily basis. There is work life balance here Great job security

Terrible salary, severely underpaid. The hike is terrible 2 years since joining got just one hike (it’s coz of confirmation) and that also was terrible. Manager does not want to discuss promotions and on site trip. I was told it was not possible for on-site and a new guy randomly sent on-site. No promotion/progression at all nobody discusses it. Manager says nothing he can do always HR does not exist, they only come for stupid meeting once a year. They do not respond at all. Suck up to manager and you will be promoted, You need to be good friends to get promotion. I was told he here At least for 3 years to get promotion. In 2 years, 3 appraisal meetings and still no rating given by manager. There is nothing called variable pay for lower level employees. There are too many middle men and you never end up getting any promotion or anything....Read More

Operations executive employee's gross salary is 18000 p/m but they give only 14000 p/m, and Infosys offices are there in metropolitan cities, it's very sad and tough to servive there with just 14000 salary. They hire BCA and BSc students as Operations executive or Systems associate, randomly they will push us to some other tech stream to under go training in that</mark>. Later we wont get relevant project. Mapped project and stream training totally different. Most of the time we will be get into supportive projects but too sometimes they reject us because we are from BSc/BCA background. They will make freshers to sit in a bench min. 2 months to max. 2 years. I have seen many people are there in bench from last 2 years. This is very bad culture in Infosys. If the candidate is worth to stay in company then could provide project or else they can terminate. But they r not doing anything simply wasting freshers time, sometimes they do play with freshers emotions....Read More

Everything Even from starting training to Onboarding to Project. They use freshers like Unskilled Labour, they won't See what skills employee have but they force us to do what they want. And most of the projects in Infosys are based on Ancient technologies for which There are zero oppertunity outside world.ex- finacle E-banking project which i was mapped to. And managers are really blsht They restrict for everything even we have to sit in front of them only.wth We more feel like we're in Jail or something. But as fresher nothing much we can do in this time of Recession have to complete our Agreement period 1.6 yrs from joining date. And move on later....Read More

There are many project opportunities internally , so you don't have to fear for attrition. Secondly you can work in latest technologies and upscale yourself with global certifications and in house training courses.

Dislikes

Salary hike and Promotions are very rare to get. Moreover the onsite salary is very less , if you travel to another country , so beware of that onsite - trap.

I joined Infosys as a fresher direct from college with basic knowledge of programming. I was trained for 3 months in java angular and sql. nobody will teach and pay you for the same. I feel it’s great what they just did in training. They have an awesome learning platform to learn any skill that you want. The salary increases slower than a snail's pace. Even after working for 10 years, your salary would be equivalent to what a fresher might get in product companies. HRs are rude and don't care about employees grievances.
