I have joined infosys for a contratul role and funny thing is even my manager is not sure with my role. He is not sure why he hired me. Once project got stabiled he told to leave on 29 November 2024.then internally got an opportunity to attend interview with a project manager and amazed with his knowledge. He has the knowledge of 5th standard student and expecting the contractual people to have PhD knowledge. Never join in infosys for a C2H role . No one ask you anything. If your work on track. There are plenty of projects. So job security is favorable.

Dislikes

Politics and no hike no promotion for 2years cycle. Cycle is sep to oct. So if you joined after septemper you will get hike after 3 years. Salary is not up to mark. Very low in the market.

Can't change project. Your pretty much stuck in yours till it gets over. In my project no specific working hours can login at 10:30 but logout depends on your work. And didn't get into development and have no growth

Work-Life balance is completely project dependent and organisation will not interfere much with stringent policies and petty politics.

Need to face the brunt of Top Management Politics for any internal project roles. Life will be smoother here if it’s client facing project roles, on the contrary, life will be miserable if you need to face senior management who’ll be seated idle in the company for decades without any job movement. Job security wise and learning wise okay.

No hikes for multiple consecutive years for laterals, atleast 3 to 4 years, need to be very hard internally. Lot of politics, onsite only for who put down the papers. Unit work will be more than the project related work or sometimes equal. Good Ratings are not given eventhough you perform very better. Mediocre management and various pathetic company policies.

3.5yrs, I've worked hard for this company. If I turn back and look, I did not have a life after work at all. I was the top performer in my team. But. I still did not get any hikes or promotion even after asking for it. Infosys has given me that tag of "yoe =3.5" but nothing else. Simple example : They trained me in software dev for 3months and put me in support project. It took me 2.5 yrs to come out of that support project with manager approval and landed a data engineer role. I won't suggest infy to the worst of my enemy. Really a cool company to work and have lot of opportunities to learn especially for freshers and even for experienced, people can really shift between projects if they wish to. Flexible timings less pressure Friendly environment Good food

I have no likes. There is such a very very worst management and managers.

No employee care. There is an onsite powerful unmankind guy torturing employees using some kind of electro magnetic devices. Making people sick. That guy must have charged to arre st. This is totally waste of time and energy. Never join this place. Investigate about onsite powerful unmankind guy first. I do not recommended this place not even to begg er.
