Well my project client and management were chill and flexible about the work. Just I need to complete the work on time. If not possible, they are ready to listen to you, we just need to be able to communicate out challenges and problems well. My work from office doesn't have strict hours or days required, I can choose any 3 days outof a week to appear in office. If you want to chill and relax, people are doing here the same and you can climb the corporate ladder with your years of experience and little efforts to complete the deliverables and secure 3 ratings. That's it! Your retirement is well planned and enjoy your life. But provided you will not grow to your market value, but I mean to say you have a comfort zone here. We have cateria, gym, food purchase with money, indoor games, good IT parks and office space, resting dorms, outdoor game fields for cricket, basketball and badminton etc. We have things to spend time here. We have free access to Udemy business and cognizant learn (cognizant learn is shit by the way), opportunities for MTech (cognizant offer 50k fee for 1 semester), external cloud, Oracle, Salesforce, service now, etc certification voucher and sponsorship... So learning is unlimited if you want to and have time to come out of comfort zone and work. We need to choose the priority you want to do with your life. They provide too much yearly learning materials which is impossible to complete them with tests within a year. Generally ask us to complete mandatory learnings in last minute. If you receive a 5,4,3 ratings it doesn't matter, they will promote you based on the quota and budget. They can change the policy of promotion criteria at anytime. If you stay in the same company for years and show loyalty, you will be provided you the fruit of your loyalty by bringing a junior with high pay than you 🤣. They will show you dreams of onsite opportunity saying you to give your years of loyalty, god knows when you will get that. Maybe when your manager resigns by that time. The projects are not stable, cognizant are loosing their clients. You might go to bench anytime when you're not required or project is ramp down. Chances when you go bench, next the company will throw you out after aging. I saw some projects work culture is really good. But some projects have micro managements and strict work hours (support roles). And some politics are also there. There are favouritism also there. Even if the project client are very chill and lenient the managers will keep pushing you and bother you. So it depends project to project....Read More

This is not a good organization at all. They force employees to work 10 hours on daily basis with constant working productive. It takes 4 hours to up down to office from home. 14 hours in a single day, Also the management system is really very poor here. They have been holding the night shift allowance from last 6 months also force to do over time which amount again comes in 3 months. Worst working culture full on pressure of work. Your career is also not safe here as I have been working here from last 2.5 years, They have moved me and my team in to 5 pillars till the date and in the last They have laid off thousands of employees without any valid reason. In the name of promotion we get only Rs 1000 in 2 years. All good and fancy things are only for showcase and fancy emails, when it comes to apply those good things they are least bothered about that. I was doing shift from 5 pm to 3 am in the morning, the move their cabs 3.30 then it takes more then 1 hours going back to home. If in case you have last drop then it will take 2 hours including everything. In short this is not a good company to work with. 10 hours a day this is really disgusting. I really wish someone from their clients read my comment and take some action against them. They are just using the people in need as rhey know there are not such good offers in the market currently due to inflation worldwide. They choose india for a good Hotspot as they get cheap labour here but they don't even pay that amount as well. I remember they mention about our package from package amount it self they hold the amount of 20k which is our amount technically and should be paid in the form of salary. Then they do the drama of a score card by pushing employees for more and more work by pressurising them in return they would give us ratings from 1 to 5. You what on the basis of ratings they give our amount back to us in the form of bonus. Which is also not full amount. If they give 3 Stat rati g they will Gove you bonus of 2k from 20 k amount rest 18k amount is in their pockets and shares distributed peacefully amongst the higher authorities.
