1. The company offers good projects to work on, but the work-life balance is average at best.

1. The appraisal process at the company lacks structure and clarity. Managers are unaware of the proper procedures, and both managerial and HR teams fail to take responsibility, often deflecting issues onto each other. 2. Managers and higher-level personnel, such as delivery managers and their superiors, lack sufficient technical expertise. Instead of providing meaningful support or solutions, they push employees to work under the same ineffective approach. 3. Employee queries are often met with hypothetical answers, and even when mistakes are on the client’s end, these managers avoid addressing them, instead prolonging the issue unnecessarily. 4. The leadership displays a typical service-class mindset, prioritizing prolonged projects to secure financial benefits rather than efficient delivery. Employees are not offered any perks, and basic gestures like acknowledging birthdays or anniversaries are overlooked. 5. The company's IT support is inadequate, with the IT team often lacking the necessary knowledge to resolve operating system-level issues effectively. 6. Overall, there is a pervasive lack of motivation to come to the office, driven by poor leadership, insufficient support, and an unengaging work environment. 7. The company claims to promote openness and transparency, but in reality, there is significant micromanagement. Managers lack awareness of basic company processes, raising questions about their competence and leadership roles. 8. The office lacks proper workspace, offers no games or fun activities to relieve work pressure, and does not provide snacks, contributing to a dull and unengaging environment. 9. Even basic gestures like providing a welcome kit are delayed for a year, making employees question the company’s culture and commitment to motivation. 10. The office environment is described as unwelcoming, akin to a graveyard, with a lack of proper infrastructure, including inadequate meeting rooms, insufficient parking space, and no formal company structure. Employees face constant disturbances due to call taken at the workstation. 11. Feedback to management is ignored and directly goes into the bin. There are very minimal benefits and only limited to those who favors the incompetent managers who are there in the system for long.. For others , Its a toxic work environment. If you are a good performer in the current organization, you may feel excluded once you join UST due to its internal politics.

Dislikes

1. Ineffective Leadership - Many managers lack the quality of inspiring the team and to lead towards the employees growth. 2. Favoritism and Biased Policies - You can very well observe a bunch of guys in their 50s roaming around with no industry specific skills , yet they are favored by the organization due to the politics play. 3. Weak HR function - Ideally, HR should be the focal point for anything concerning to the employees. Unfortunately, here it's just for the namesake and doesn't come to picture at all. As I understand , they take freshers for a minimum salary to manage the HR function for a department. 4. Stagnant pay and very limited Growth - Employees face no salary hikes or any growth. This feels like an exclusion for the performing individuals as employees. 5. Favoritism in Career Advancement - Key assignments are often influenced by politics and when the credit comes in, this will be handed over to these incapable managers. UST should concentrate on appreciating employees based on performance not based on biases. UST should make HR , an employee centric with a clear and fair grievance resolution mechanisms. I am not sure by writing this review will change the organization culture. But , the only intention being to alert the prospective individuals while selecting UST as the next employer. It's a Big NO ! , unless are decided to jump into an organization with toxic culture and no governance. Thank you....Read More

1.Unhealthy work culture :management treats employees like machines, not professionals 2.No work-life balance; they constantly monitor your hours, lunch breaks, and interactions with colleagues 3.Zero technical leadership; many (Most)managers lack technical expertise and focus only on trivial compliance 4.Rampant favoritism; promotions go to personal favorites, not high performers or technically skilled employees 5.Restrictive leave policies; getting more than 2 days off is unusually difficult, while managers freely take WFH and personal time 6.Hostile environment; being friendly or collaborative (especially across genders) can get you into unnecessary trouble Advice to Management: Focus on building a professional, respectful, and growth-oriented culture. It's like consulting company and contract based jobs. There are no long term projects here.
