A toxic work environment due to unreasonable phone policy. I have been an employee at the globalLogic and while the company provides an opportunity to work on diverse project, the current workplace environment has become increasingly toxic due to unreasonable privacy enforced by the management. Recently, the company introduced a policy where employees are required to lock their phones in the locker during working hours. This decision has caused immense distress, especially for those of us, who are living away from our families. Many employees, including Myself, have moved to this city for work and our phones are often the only means to stay connected with the loved ones. In the era, where emergencies can arrive any time, having our primary source of communication taken away feels not only inconsiderate, but also unsafe. What if there is an emergency and our families need to contact us urgently? With no access to our phones, this policy put unnecessary stress on the employees, knowing that they are unreachable to their loved ones most of the day. While I understand the need for discipline and focus during work hours, there should be a more balanced approach that doesn’t compromise the personal well-being and peace of mind of the employees. This policy is contributing to a toxic environment where employees feel like their personal concerns are being overlooked . I hope the management reconsider this decision and implements a more humane approach that takes into account of well-being of their employees....Read More

Ha ha ha... Really anybody working in GlobalLogic since long have something to mention in this segment.

Really appreciate management ability to fool employees as they didn't given even a single rupee hike from last 3 years but still people are working here and delivering projects on time. Your manager can call you any time 24/7 in the name of project (few members in my team are getting call even at 1:00 am while we are working in regular shift 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and be ready for HR escalation if you are not picking it up. Projects are getting allocated as per billing availability and not as per your skills, e.g. Java an DevOps person have to work on testing assignments and testers have to learn new language for their survival in organization. Loyalty have no value in this organization, even after spending 8-10 years your job is not secure and HR start calling you to put down your paper if you are on bench even for 1 month. Promises is the only one thing that you will get on regular basis from this organization but never expect them to get completed. Like last year we got promise that we will get hike in Jan2024, In Jan we further get another promise of Mar 24, in March we get promise of hike for July 24, Now again we get a promise for Oct 24 and most of us in GlobalLogic are quite sure that in Oct we will get another promise but no hike. In short we are getting these hike promises from last 3 years.......Read More

0 work life balance Lots of work pressure. Too tight/ unrealistic deadline Even ask to work on weekends and public holidays. And don't even pay for it. No login logout timings. They will call you in morning around 8 am and ask to start work or join a call. And expect you to work till 12 / 1 am. After putting this much effort there is 0 appreciation.

They waste lot of time in candidates interview but genuinely they wnt give any offer to the candidates and the HR who calls the candidates is a fake lady who post requirement in linkedin and take multiple rounds of candidate and then she doesn't even give offer letter to candidates

- Bench period is max 60 days - Resources don't have choices to work from their current 'work/base' location and need to be ready to relocate to any other location as per project demand otherwise HR says that they will issue the Warning letters!! Also once you come on the bench then resourcing team take the heated calls and make you feel that you have become big liability to company now. - Mandatory 3 days 'per week' wfo on bench otherwise leave deduction or LOP -only one single digit lowest minimum hike in last 3.5 years - majority of projects are driven from Noida location and it's challenging to deal with these people . . . Cab facility is the only good thing at GL.

Dislikes

GL provides food but that food is low quality and unhealthy. They make us work like robots with 15 mins breaks in total 8 hours. They don't gives us leaves or any incentives. Leads feel they are on the top of the world but they are brainless. Facility team think they are the managers and real managers behave like peon. Salary is very low when compared to work.
