I would specifically highlight Kyndryl India, as we do not get exposure to global accounts. Kyndryl India primarily focuses on building domestic clients. Your experience will largely depend on the client location and your internal management. Pros: 1. Kyndryl offers a competitive salary. 2. There are plenty of learning opportunities. If you are proactive and ambitious, managers may assign you multi-skilled roles. However, this often comes at the cost of work-life balance and lower appraisals, in exchange for gaining diverse experience. This approach is beneficial if you plan to do it for only a year or two. However, in the long run, it can negatively impact your health and overall well-being—regardless of whether you work regular hours or shifts....Read More

Concerns with Kyndryl India: 1. Manager-Driven Culture: Kyndryl India operates as a manager-driven company. While HR policies may look good on paper, they hold little real authority despite the company's size. Approaching HR for issues can sometimes lead to retaliation from managers, such as no promotion, increased workload pressureto push you toward resignation, fabricated low-performance reviews, verbal threats of termination, or even official email warnings. 2. High Availability Expectations: If you're in operations, management may expect you to be available at all times—even outside working hours. This stems from poor resource planning by sales and business teams, who aim to maximize profit margins by deploying minimal resources to projects. 3. Exploitation of Third-Party Vendor Employees: Senior Kyndryl managers often treat third-party vendor employees poorly. Since HR policies don’t apply to them, freshers are frequently exploited and work under extreme fear of being fired for minor mistakes. 4. Unclear Scope of Work & Client Pressure: The scope of work constantly shifts to accommodate client demands, increasing pressure on ground-level employees. Kyndryl India’s management is highly submissive to clients to maintain business and secure more projects. In some cases, managers develop personal relationships with client-side teams, ensuring their job security even if they underperform. This weak stance allows clients to take advantage of the situation. 5. Office Politics & Growth Struggles: Office politics plays a major role in career growth. Senior employees with good relationships move up easily, while junior employees struggle for promotions and appraisals. 6. Judgment Based on Availability, Not Quality: Employees are evaluated more on their availability than on the quality of their work. Since operations run with minimal staffing, managers prioritize those who are always accessible. As a result, Kyndryl’s global work-hour policies and leave policies become ineffective in India. 7. Challenges in Taking Leaves: Backup resources are scarce, making it difficult to take leave. Employees often end up working even when on sick leave. Taking planned leave for more than a week is a challenge. 8. Weekend Work & Limited Control Over Comp-Offs: You may be called in to work on your scheduled week off due to emergency activities or resource shortages. I don't like anything. The top management is the worst. They don't do anything and just do time pass and the people at the bottom of the pyramid they are squeezed to work day and night. Nothing good about this company. No one knows until when this company will survive. Doesn't look like it's on the right path due to poor performance of top management people. Better stay away.

One person has to do 3 people work. Company policy and way of doing things is really worst and their ERP tool has so many issues from 2 years and it's not getting solved and everything is to be done manually. Top management people draw free salary by doing nothing and people under them at the bottom of the pyramid do all the work. Not at all worth working at this company. No job security or work life balance now. They don't have funds and they don't pay their suppliers and they get to the buyers and ask them for payments and buyers say this and that. Those hectic situations are also handled by buyers only. There are so many PO issues, invoice payment issues and invoice rejections. Everything to be done by the buyer and nothing is done by Accounts payable. If planning to join this company, then my suggestion is please stay away and you will thank me. No promotion from 3-4 years inspite of being a top performer and doing 3 people job. Hike is around 5-8% max on yearly basis for working so much and performing so well. If you ask for promotion or good hike for doing 3 peoples job from a very long time, they say we cannot give you and you can look for a job outside. You can get to bench anytime. Their contracts with their customers are not getting renewed due to poor performance in previous year or term so their customers are going with others and due to that many people are on bench. Worst company. No vision, nothing. They are lost. Top management cares for only big fat salary and normal employees just over work and get exhausted and burned out. Just stay away. Salary is very very less when compared to market for such roles and no growth here apart from working a lot. There are so many other companies, join them and skip this company for your own good and mental health. Worst company management i have seen in my last 13 years of experience.. Manager will give you more pressure and torture if they are planned to remove you and they will force for resignation by giving work load and unrespectful in front of everyone by tagging your name in what's app group. They want to be available 24/7 in what's app and calls if you are not active and not messaging and replying in whats app then you are non performing resource. Kyndryl management likes only if employee talks more in the what's app groups which will have more than 15 plus groups and which doesn't make any sense what they are talking about and no useful at all what ever discussion going on whats app groups...but if you work hard/Smart with full dedication management don't see that and will publish you as non performing and no visibility etc etc.. Management will not approve leaves even if we are in emergency and if you are any planned leave they will cancel your leaves....management will ask you to work even your weekends and also if you are in sick leaves..
