Do not mistake by joining in Infosys, I am working here for almost 9 years, no growth... You can join for time being for 2 to 3 years.... More than this your Carrier will spoil.

Employees are exploited based on and because of the outdated Labor laws of India. Working hours is 9 hours (which affects work-life balance negatively) and even this official working hours is not respected and employees are made to work additional hours. Officially you're provided complimentary leaves for working on holidays/weekends. But when you request to opt for these complimentary leaves, you will be forced to not take leaves unless you provide some justification to take these leaves to the manager. Promotion/progress in your career takes many years and that too with very low wages. Infosys is good for mid level experience guys. Definitely NOT for managererialjob levels. Infosys is manager centric company and 360 degree scope and no work life balance. And it's luxury for above manager levels like Delivery manager, vice president, AVP, SVP, EVP. They just for approvals and can just ask questions and get the work done from lowerjob levels like project manager, sr. Project managers, group project managers. No ownership and responsibilities tagged to below PMs like leads, analysts, engineers. They are happiest creatures in Infosys. Most of freshers and 1_2 yrs if experiences guys stand at bench for months and years too.. One good point to mention is campuses are good to relax freshers and greenery....Read More

Especially NOT good for JL6 and equalent consultants level, that's too laterals. Guys who joined 15 and 20byrs before, they backed up with management.. Very poor appraisal process. Every thing there as per policy. But no practical . Very poor HR process they just good for doing regular documentation tasks. When really employee related issues arise, then they totally rely on managers. They don't have any updates on appraisals....Read More

My first and worst company. I join as an engineer and they deploy me to the onboarding process I discuss with my manager he rudely speaks with me and say kaam karo warna terminate kar denge. They take a money from client by putting people in production bench even infosys clients also get cheated but they didnt they know.

No job security. No project oppurtunities and lay offs happen with worst reasons no matter if employees are in project or not.

Even though we get project, they don't care and just see if we cleared in their certificate or not and terminate based on that. They don't even check your overall performance and in the required certification, even if are unable to clear with 1-2 marks difference also they categorize us under unqualified candidates. More than the project holders, they only care about the certificate qualifications. And solely terminate employees with those reasons. They don't care if you perform good or having project....Read More
