Confused between 2 offers
Hi all, I am having two offers- one from Infy (Kolkata) another from Deloitte (Hyd). Kolkata being my preferred location, while Deloitte offering 15k more monthly. (I know Hyd's expense will cancel this out eventually).
Kindly suggest on what to do. This is my first switch.

Deloitte’s extra 15k monthly is significant, but factor in the cost of living in Hyderabad vs. Kolkata. If Kolkata’s your preferred location, the savings might not feel worth relocating.

Honestly, 15k more is nice, but you don’t wanna spend it all traveling back to Kolkata every holiday. Location > Money sometimes.

15k more per month adds up over time. If Hyderabad’s cost of living isn’t much higher, it’s worth considering. But emotional attachment to Kolkata can’t be ignored

If it’s all about career growth, Deloitte might have the edge. But for vibes and home comfort, Infy wins. Tough call, man!

If you are early part of the career,Hyderabad Deloitte is a better option. Kolkata won't have much options to switch later

In terms of money difference, it's not only 15k, it would be many more. You can easily make subsequent switch in coming years if u r in Hyderabad. Making a good switch would be difficult in Kolkata later. ... see more
