How soon should I say I'm not joining the org.
I have offer from 3 orgs
1. Deloitte
2. Thoughtworks
3. TCS
Decided to join Deloitte on March 05, which is the DoJ of other two as well.
I wanted to know when is the right time to inform tcs and thoughtworks that I'm not joining their orgs, and what's the best reason to give?
I wanted to have a backup offer if in worst case deloittes offer messes up.

Seeking advice on current job
Current Job Situation:
I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation.
Concerns:
1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies?
2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch?
Seeking Advice:
What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

New Job Anxiety?
Hey all
I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job.
I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work.
I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week.
Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure.
With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything.
Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role.
Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock
Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus
Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock.
What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)

From ₹6K to ₹65K: Am I on the Right Career Path?
I started my career in e-commerce with a product listing and stock management, earning ₹6K per month. After a year, I transitioned into organic social media marketing, managing daily content for brands for over two years (₹20K per month).
Then came my leap into paid media, where I spent 3+ years honing my skills. I worked my way up from:
🔹 Executive – ₹28K/month (Joined)
🔹 Assistant Manager – ₹43K/month
🔹 Manager – ₹53K/month (Left)
Recently, I took on a new challenge as a Senior Executive in a different organization, now earning ₹65K/month.
Looking back at my 5-6 years of experience, I see a journey of continuous learning and growth. But as I move forward, I wonder if I am on the right path am I earning the right money?

Salary Increment after Probation – How to Maximize Chances?
I joined my current company 3 months ago and I’m currently in a 6-month probation period. During the interview, the interviewer mentioned that salary increments after probation are rare, but there’s a slight chance if performance is exceptional.
I want to know — is there any practical way to maximize my chances for a salary hike after probation?
Also, would it be a good idea to search for new jobs and use an offer to negotiate a raise with my current company? Or would that backfire during the probation period?
Looking for advice from people who have faced similar situations. Please share your experiences!

What to do get High package?
Hi friends again I want to seek your help. I am a really frustrated guy and hopeless because I am quite unable to achieve anything. I have family to support and have thought that after Engineering life will get better but seems everything turned out reverse. I am civil engineer with 7 years work ex and package is below 7 lpa but now my role and construction industry is in cooled down state. New job opening are not promising. Packages offered are even below expectation and not competitive. And foreign MNC and Big Names are only hiring +1 degree holders. I am now totally stuck to my field. Tried switching by doing MBA but entrance exams hit hard no colleges are ready to give admission on profile. I don't know what to do. Going for full time would have been beneficial but now Age comes I am now close to 30 years. Please suggest what to do. Trying out courses on Data Analytics but still sceptical if this works out for my age and experience.

Afraid of choosing the wrong path on my first step (Fresher) (2 months as an intern)([img] I did courses i thought sounded cool 😅. Its fun)
Hi everyone, I'm a Mechatronics Graduate. I love literally anything that's challenging and interesting to work at. But i got an issue there, i rattle my brain a lot ; I'm obsessed to understand my work to the point i try to play with the work to find a optimal/lazy approach to do the same work but effective. I love working towards that but the problem here is that peers think that i'm goofing around while i work even overnight to find the solution that satisfies me. This attitude of mine creates an in-subordinate/Rebel image to my peers and boss that lead to this scenario, " What are you doing, why am i not seeing any progress while you sit all day here. What did you do ". I do complete my work in time but i do a 'bit of zoning out' around them, trying to understand the purpose and parameters that are available in my work and stuff. I try to explain this to my boss but he thinks it's a nuisance and waste of time😓.
Now I'm afraid of choosing the wrong career path.

Should I join a company rated 2.6 in ambition box when I dont have a job and no offer in hand?

My LWD in last company was in Dec 2024 and I dont have any job now and no interviews are lined up.
However,I got an offer letter from the company based out of Hyderabad
Now this company has 2.6 rating in ambition box pretty low.
Some comments I found are salary on 7th, then politics from old employees, even company firing you.
SHOULD I JOIN THIS COMPANY?
OR WAIT FOR MORE INTERVIEWS?
EVEN IF I WANTED TO PUSH THE JOINING DATE LATER TO SEE IFF I GET BETTER OPPORTUNITIES OR NOT, HOW DO I APPROACH THE HR TO PISHBACK THE JOINING DATE TO A LATER DATE?

Stuck Between Bond & Better Opportunity – Need Advice!
I'm currently working at XYZ company, which has a one-year bond and a 60-day notice period. I recently cracked an interview at ABC, and they want me to join within 15 days.
If I resign, I will lose one month's salary and my deposited amount (equal to another month's salary). I can manage the money loss, but I don't want to lose my experience letter, as it's important for my next opportunity.
If I tell ABC about this, I might lose the offer.

Need advice
Hi everybody.
So the story is that I started my journey in 2021 Dec. I started working as a Project Engineer since then I have worked on two projects. First as a Chatbot developer and second as a Capacity Analyst. Now the thing is that between the end of the first project and the start of the second project, a lot of things happened in my life. A car accident that changed my life and the diagnosis of heart arrhythmia. I am suffering from heart arrhythmia and trying my level best to switch to the cloud. I am about to get the termination letter because of the bench policy. Now my question is.
1) Should I join a BPO or something to earn because I am living in a 1BHK flat?
OR
2) Should I take a break and start everything from scratch after my heart's procedure.
I am confused. Also if anybody can guide me on how to get an entry level cloud job even if I have 3 years of IT experience please ping me. It'll be a massive help.
Thanks👍

Cleartrip | Delhivery | Offer
Hi All,
I graduated with a B.E. in Computer Science in 2023 and since then worked in a startup from Jan 2023 to August 2023 as an Intern and later from September 2023 to August 2024 as an SDE. I left the startup because work culture had gotten way too toxic for me. Now After 3 months I have 3 offers, StarHealth - 12.5 LPA, Delhivery - 15 LPA, Cleartrip - 17 LPA + 10% Variable. Previous CTC was 10.2 LPA, I know Delhivery and Cleartrip has low balled me a lot, but I can't keep on being unemployed and am joining Cleartrip next week. I want to ask, should I keep applying more because I am fed up of applying day after again and again and focus on learning and build skills gradually or Keep on applying on the side (if this what should I say to the HR's of new companies why I am exploring even when you have just switched).
Thanks

Preparing for switch after 7 YOE in TCS not know what Skill to study?
Advice Needed,
Hi,
I have 7 years of experience in TCS. This is the first and only company. Initially, I worked on PLSQL for 2 years. Pretty basic stuff. Since then I'm working on Thunderhead.
It's an Insurance client.
I studied python left midway.
Then, I studied javascript left midway.
Then I thought Java has more job openings.
Although, I have an option to work on Java in my company.
I'm totally confused as to which path should I take for job switch.
Why I didn't switch earlier as I was preparing for CDS didn't get selected. It was plan B. But now this is the only plan I have.
Your suggestion would be really helpful.
