Hey, AB fam, PIP = Corporate death sentence. I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM. Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down. My Survival Jugaad? Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? She agreed. Trst unlocked. In meetings, I nodded like a bobblehead. "Ma’am, truly visionary! Aap to corporate Rani Lakshmi Bai ho!" Smiles = Achieved.. Emotional Connect – She loved dogs. I had fight with code reviewer he is from other team he is just arrogant and he complains to my manager , The manager gives wrong and negative feedback though I am technically sound , but got released by from the project by the manager After that I got new project it was only 2 month I done all most all work got spot award also for this by working more than 12 hours . Because of this overwork I am feeling stressed and new project is coming to me and they just asking me about justification for all 1 Guys I am in pip but new manager said(may be choclate to employee) we will retain you by giving good feedback 2 All people in the company want to take me in projects but asking me justification for pip 3.Working more than 12 hours every day and also attending late night calls I am stressed out every day with working hours and also the justification given to others lot of politics happening . Mentally draining with no patner in my life to share this who can understand this and guid .

Hey all Recently I moved to another organisation to my surprise the entire work environment is too different from what I have expected. And I need to work under My DM who is right in front of us who does micro monitoring so much and it was completely new to me. Even seniors were saying be careful with him as 7-8 people recently have moved out of the company due to some differences and here I have joined a month ago and Heard more stories about my DM. Idk how I'll manage here as of now I just want to leave this company within 6-9 months. A Sad Yet Funny Work Story

When I was working at a corporate giant, a new guy joined the team. He was super friendly, settled in quickly, and even made a bunch of friends. Everything was going smoothly. A week in, he got an email from our CEO. It was... unusual. The email claimed that the CEO (yes, the one sitting in his giant glass office a few feet away from us) was in a financial crisis and urgently needed 20,000 rupees. Reporting Manager threatening and Forcing

I have over 5 years of extensive experience in machine design, SPM, robotics, prototyping, CAE simulation & vehicle design. My current manager is unjustly forcing me to work as an operator on shop floor. While I initially complied and completed many shop floor task, But I cannot sustain this role long-term as it degrades my professional profile and is causing sleep deprivation, health problems, and a lot of mental stress due to the rotational shifts. Despite trying to talk with him in many different ways, he won’t listen and even started yelling. Currently I cannot resign, and my manager is exploiting this, pushing his authority without ethics and treating like a slave. My 3-month notice period is deterring many companies. HR has stated they cannot intervene, leaving me with an ultimatum: work in rotational shifts or leave. After having multiple discussion with Manager/HR they have put me in PIP. Update - I have resigned from this position and serving notice period

When Job Hunting Goes Public: A Screen Share Disaster

So, this happened today... I was presenting my screen to my manager to discuss next quarter's goals, and everything was going fine until it wasn’t. As soon as I minimized the presented tab, there it was: my job hunting tab, sitting smack dab in the middle of the screen, shining bright like a diamond for my manager to see. He asked about it, and I panicked. Words started spilling out: “Umm... research... growth... industry trends!” And just as I fumbled to close the tab, I somehow managed to open my resignation letter draft instead. If only Ctrl+Z worked in real life. 🙃 Lesson learned: 1. Always use incognito mode for job hunting. 2. NEVER multitask during office calls. TL;DR: The job hunting tab popped up during a screen share with my manager, and panic mode activated. Always use incognito and never multitask in meetings!

Is This Just a Bad Manager or a Sign to Leave?

I started my first job a few months ago remote, no proper training, just straight to work. My manager? Let’s just say, he has a style. He makes weird jokes to get a reaction, gossips about colleagues (I stay quiet), and yells at me and my teammates over the smallest things. If I don’t react, he gets even more irritated. One time, he said I “take advantage of being a girl” and that he wouldn’t “spare me” if I were a guy… whatever that means. Lunch breaks? Apparently, 20 minutes is okay, but 40 minutes is pushing it. I joined Axis Max Life Insurance, on 24 Dec 2024, After 11 Jan 2025 I started receiving hate and toxic culture from the female L1 Manager BRM. On Axis Max Life Insurance. I’m planning to resign tomorrow. Despite delivering what we promised and going above and beyond, we’re constantly blamed due to the urgency of the project going live. In my experience, the management at is worse than service companies...no support when needed, and no accountability for issues we raised. I’ve had enough and decided to move on. Most people are off till Jan 6, so I plan to use the first 15 days of my notice to prepare for interviews. I don’t have an offer yet, but given the market, I feel chances are good during the notice period. Should I go ahead and resign? Need your suggestions.

How to tackle 3rd class toxic manager, he/she asked to share leave plans 2 months before. For 1 day sick leave, they aksed us for dr. Presciption paper. For planed leaves if we share 3 months before he says that will discuss and not approves leave even after discussion as well. As per AML right source leave policy casual/sickl leaves are meant for personal & Health related emergencies but as per these toxic managers there should be no personal emergency or Health related issues for employees life. They ate trwleating us like slaves. AML right source should hire decent managers who knows excel, word, powerpoints so they can show their talents to freshers rather than putting them on PIP or Hr's or One-O-One discussion for mental harassment. Every managers have their own sycophant who gave all the inside story of all the agents and gets promotions while doing nothing.

Forget money, forget career...nothing matters more than your health.

Six months ago, I started experiencing back pain. At first, it was just a mild discomfort, easy to ignore, so I did. But it didn’t go away. It got worse. Sitting hurt, standing hurt, even lying down offered no relief. Two weeks ago, I had to undergo surgery. There was no other option; the damage had already gone too far. Now, I’m in recovery, and it’s brutal. Every small movement is a reminder of how much I took my body for granted. We spend so much time chasing CTC, promotions, and financial independence, but none of it matters if your health breaks down. If you’re pain-free right now, don’t take it for granted. Don’t ignore the warning signs your body gives you, pain isn’t something to tough out. If I could go back, I’d trade everything...money, career, ambitions, just to take better care of myself earlier. Please, don’t make the same mistake.

There are my colleague 2 TLs , in office, they are always making fun of me and today when I slept for few minutes on desk as I was not feeling well they took my photo and making fun in meeting room stating are you still in sleep, I feel like crying not only for this but for any thing they will bring my name, try to plot me in meeting if I am not meeting any parameter, for them it's seems normal and cool but for me it is becoming unbearable
