Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question
So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Job Market Seems to Be Opening Up Again!
I've been getting more interview calls recently, and after months of silence., it’s a relief! Things are looking better out there. Keep building your skills and applying, guys. Patience does pay off! For context: I have about 5 years of experience in the IT field, currently working as a security analyst (contract role) for the past 6 months. I've been applying for analyst roles at junior/mid-level positions open to hybrid and remote setups. Certifications I’ve done so far include CEH, CCNA, AWS Practitioner, and Splunk Essentials. What’s been your experience with job hunting lately? Let’s help each other out!

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw
I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.

Post interview process
I am working as a front-end developer for 4.5years in a same company. So I think this is the right time to switch my job. I attended F2F interview yesterday(21-01-25) at TCD, I completed two rounds of interview and wait for a while, they say you may leave now you got a call from us soon. Is they call me either I cleared the interview or not cleared it, or they call only I cleared the interview? Can I wait for the call or focus on other interview?

I’m halfway through my 90-day notice period and have appeared for 5-6 interviews but haven’t cracked any yet. Should I keep pushing or consider withdrawing my resignation as a backup? How should I stay motivated and improve my interview performance? Looking for advice from those who've been in a similar situation!
