Managers don't bother about their sub ordinates, neither are interested to have any healthy conversations. Crapy salary hike, no promotion, no skill upliftment.

IF you are a good "A$$-licker" your job is safe, in fact they will create positions for you with made-up names.

Dislikes

in 2020 EY outsourced it's IT to IBM, exactly 1 year before that, the favorites of THE Big Boss transferred themselves (Not even an internal job was posted) to safer departments. These are the one's who never worked on a single issue, project or incident. Their only talent was spooning. When companies ask why they are loosing their reputation, it's NEPOTISM AND RACISM.

Intense mental strain, significant emotional distress, excessive display of bias, high rate of employee attrition, hostile and toxic environment, extreme cruelty towards female employees, subjecting them to harsh verbal abuse and severe emotional distress especially in the Assurance Advisory department.

I like the exposure which we gain while working in a good team. The team members were kind and supportive.

Dislikes

Huge amount of work load. People expect you to work even when you ill. Our mostly weekends were working, we can't even plan anything for weekend in advance. Also my team did not promote work from home concept

Work life balance is next to zero unless you have serious boundaries and/or don't care about what your manager thinks. Promotions are like anywhere else - tough. But they have way more variations in reasons to not promote you, basically nothing is enough. Pathetic work culture, no work life balance, seniors will not tell you anything and expect you to know everything even if you are a fresher, lack to training, too much office politics, no personal life, seniors treat you like garbage, humiliation, no empathy, only work here if you want to lose your self respect and self confidence, colleagues are too selfish and only boot lickers can succeed here.

Their is nothing to like about they make you work for over 10-12 hrs a day without any recognition

Dislikes

The culture is very toxic with office politics always taking first place. Even if you outperform your peers you will not get appraisal or bonus because office politics may not allow it

I had a great time at EY. I was surrounded by very hard working people who set very high standards and very good example. The Leadership under whom I work was very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

The demands of work is high and pace of work is quite fast. Even though I enjoyed it. But it may not be for everyone
