Highly toxic culture with no career growth or pay benefits. 1. The leadership treats the team as only resources and nothing else. They only care for your utilisation level, and not about your career aspirations, project interests, promotions or growth. 2. The reporting managers (called RL- Relationship Leader) and the project managers, are different, so the RL rarely care about the reportees till the time some information needs to be shared. They would not even connect with you for months. There could be a possible reorg and you might be put in some under some new manager and you wouldn’t even get to know cos this information is not communicated to you and the new manager won’t seem it necessary to connect to his/her reportees- in short they don’t care. 3. Majority of projects are driven by US stakeholders and might not have a manager from India team- this means that even if you receive great feedback from the US team, nobody is going to push your case for promotion and bonuses. 4. There is a lot of inside politics where the Sr. managers promote only the people they like irrespective of how much effort you might have put in, or how good of a feedback you might have received. They don’t even consider it necessary to have a discussion with you regarding your annual performance and your final hike and bonus numbers but lock it in the system. 5. There is no 360 degree feedback. So you have no way to submit your review for your project team managers or leadership. 6. There is no team budget for employee wellness activities- There are no offsite events. Rather they have an annual events within office where they will have employees from other AC locations in India fly in to Bangalore on their own expense and book their own stays. Employees run initiatives to collect monthly contributions and celebrate the team birthdays at the end of the month. There is no team fund for anything. 7. If you are on bench due to a lack of available project, the leadership would align you with some other team as a temporary arrangement (1-10 months), however while filling out your annual performance review, nobody will be considering that time spent with other team and your contributions are regarded worthless in your career progression (they only care for your utilisation numbers) 8. No recognition: You might be spending 14 hrs each day on projects and still your efforts would not be recognised and you might be asked to stretch more. It's disheartening to share that despite being one of the top performers, I was laid off without prior warning. While I don't intend to discourage anyone outright, I feel it's important to advise prospective employees to carefully consider their decision joining this organization. Sometimes, performance alone may not guarantee stability.

1. 'Bhaiya-Didi' Culture: The workplace operates more like a local neighborhood than a professional environment, with favoritism and cliques dominating the culture. 2. Lack of Professionalism: The behavior of many colleagues is far from professional, creating an uncomfortable and unproductive atmosphere. 3. Layoffs of Top Performers: Even top performers are not safe here. Hard work and results don't seem to matter when decisions are made arbitrarily. 4. Unreasonable Late-Night Work: Late-night sittings are a norm, with no regard for employees’ well-being or work-life balance. 5. Unhelpful Seniors: Seniors often expect you to be available 24x7 but offer little to no guidance or support in return. 6. No Value for Professionals: True professionalism is neither respected nor recognized here. 7. Technically Incompetent Leadership: Senior managers lack technical expertise, leading to poor decision-making and a lack of direction. 8. Team Dynamics: The team environment is chaotic, with a lack of competence and collaboration among members. 9. No Concern for Personal Life: There is zero regard for personal life or emergencies, making it impossible to maintain balance. 10. Life Becomes Miserable: Joining this organization will likely lead to stress and dissatisfaction, making life feel like a never-ending struggle....Read More

People from Wipro who were working from beginning and also newly joined experience people became one sided. Office politics. My new ideas were not implemented. As a Lead, no access was given for preparing roster, alignment of transport, nothing. We had to adhere Wipro Leads. They used to decide everything.

need some guidance and advice. I have 2 offers, 1 from PWC and another from Microsoft. So the deal is like: 1-Both are giving contracutal role. PWC contract will be of 6 months which will be extended and may lead to FTE based on performance after 18 months. The consultancy offering for Microsoft is for 18 months but non- extendable. 2- Both are giving similar renumeration. 3.5 lpa vs 3.8 lpa as my current CTC is 2.81 lpa. Though i gave them the bracket of 4.5-6 lpa. In hand structure is also same around 27k. 3- PWC is offering hybrid while MICROSOFT is remote. i have 6+ yr experience and just coz of my current ctc am not able to grab a good hike

Everyday you need to work till 10pm at office, you get back home and work till 3/4am, come back to office next day by 10am. Unofficialy they will make you work every Saturday. They will assign you task to do on Sunday, you will manage to take rest on Sunday evening only if they allow you.
