I'm Currently part of US accounts Payable team, which is led by a highly manipulative Manager Saurabh and Director Sayantani Dutta. The entire AP department has become worst enviroment to work in. It's largely staffed by individuals from BPO background, and the mindset reflects that. There is absolutely no real scope for growth. Regardless of how much work you out in or how positive the feedback you receive is, the appraisal and bonus remains fixed at 8%. They constantly find ways to push you down, often using excuse "We already have too many associates and analysts. We need to maintain a balance between two levels. There’s too much office politics, with little opportunity for growth unless you constantly flatter your superiors. Laugh on silly jokes, following their every other wrong decision makes you feel sick. Hard work seems irrelevant- your progress depends entirely on your relationship with senior staff. Favouritism is rampant, and leadership’s decisions are clearly biased. It’s disheartening to face this everyday, and it’s starting to make the whole experience unbearable....Read More
