Working at helpdesk, is pathetic one cannot get themselves to learn new skills or enhance themselves. People want you be here at helpdesk just taking call and chats they don't want you to explore, learn, meet with anyone. Gartner is quite a good company to work but not at helpdesk where they will treat you like a servant and it feels like you are at school, sit here don't go there, don't do this, don't do that....Read More

Overall Gartner was a employee centric firm. But some new leaders have introduced micromanage their team members. Gartner promote switching careers through IJPs. But have heard some leadership have restricted some candidates from their end. Organic promotion is difficult. You may have to look for IJPs for a role change. Though there are multiple appreciations mode. However, some hard working folks are not appreciated due to biased approach by leadership....Read More

Work life balance is followed. Work time is best. They arrange training for their employees to improve their skills. I remember they had provided training for simple thing like email writing and communication

Nothing as such, except one thing which I didn’t like was that promotion was to favourite person.

Great work culture. Colleagues and seniors are friendly and helpful. Horizontal hierarchy and everyone is very approachable. Flexibility of working from home unless required. Timely salary credit, (before time, when credit date is a bank holiday). Subsidized cab services (negligible cost), and free lunch at office. Last and definitely not the least, is the work life balance, no over-work after work hours, no hassle in taking leaves, be it casual, sick or paid. Job security and work life balance(due to work from home). It's good if you want to do mundane work 5 days a week and don't want to bother yourself for rest 2 days

Pay is below standard. Lots of politics in service operations. You can join if you want to pursue a side hustle but not recommended for growth and good compensation.
