Only thing that is good with EY, is it’s reputation, which is also not correct.

EY is not at all a employee friendly company. Employees have to suffer a lot even for basic information. There is no specified department or person for employees query. Also, they something thing and give something as salary, they try to deduct salary as much as possible. In my case they dis jot inform me abiut certain deduction which was optional and now i cannot get until unless i leave the company....Read More

Pathetic work culture, no work life balance, seniors will not tell you anything and expect you to know everything even if you are a fresher, lack to training, too much office politics, no personal life, seniors treat you like garbage, humiliation, no empathy, only work here if you want to lose your self respect and self confidence, colleagues are too selfish and only boot lickers can succeed here.

Dislikes

The unnecessary pressure to work from office and the unsupportive rude behaviour of the HR. There was nothing given above and beyond the salary not even box of sweets on small occasions. All the team outings and activities were self sponsored.

GDS- Full on toxic culture. On very first week your manager expects you to work on weekends without even having some empathy. No relevant data science projects. Colleagues won't even talk to you properly - hostile nature. Stay away if you can. Even if you lose 5 lacks, here that extra money is not worth it.

Gen AI and Data Science - No, even you are paid higher due to Gen AI role. Forget of relevant work. They will put on some random excel analysis, PPT work, automation with Ms Power Tool, model validation etc. Work life balance - Hehe, what is that? Most of the people here are from big 4 who takes pride in working 15 hours and weekends. They lack understanding of tech but are confident to say garbage. They provide hybrid mode but whenever you need work from home even for medical emergency they ask so much evidence and validate from their doctor team. And make it so much complex so that you stop asking for.

Company asks for 11 hours of works on official note in busy season without paying any extra compensation and benefits. That 11 hours of works takes 14 -15 hrs.Apart from busy season you have to work 11 hrs No travel allowance No food allowance,also high charges in cafeteria

Very pleasant place Ample opportunities to learn (there are free courses provided from various platforms) Most of the seniors are supportive. It's a brand that will increase your resume's weight. Good Pay Sometimes you get days off between engagements. No - Less work in those days.

Work Life Balance? Who ? ( P.S: You have to make your own time, seniors also understand SOMETIMES). Coffee. If you are new to a team, sometimes the old teammates can be egoistic at first.

EY uses PIP as a tool to fire people. If you are on bench, they will not give you any hike(0%), no bonus, and then put you on PIP when you complain. Once on PIP they will slowly start pressurizing you to resign on your own. This is how EY gets rid of its employees without making it look like they are "laying off"
