Apart from job security nothing is good...

If you are good at what you do then people don't release you,, there is a policy that if there is no issue with the associate then project will not release you before 2years,, even if you want to leave. There is no way to upgrade your skills ... i have been with TCS with so many years but never got a chance to work in a good projects or got a good role is it because of my fate or what don't know but over all my work experience with Tcs is very bad or worst. There is a variable pay every quarter but its valid for only those whose salary is as it is good but those who have less salary they don't get paid anything but they have been asked to come to office on a regular basis what a great rule has been made. People here having so much of attitude problem if they knows something they will not even give a chance to seat and learn with them quite mean people working in the organisation.. There is no way to get the promotion and if you are working as a analyst management will be showing as if they are the boss and they are paying you.. Not at all happy working with TCS and i will never recommend anyone to work here... i know people will still come madly to work here because its the Tata company but i wish they would have given the opportunity to anyone......Read More

It is vary on location and management.. I am recently working in Kolkata location and the management and work culture is terrible. Toxicity on its high level.

I have been working with TCS for 5+ years. This is real awesome organization with all the policies which assured job security , work life balance, learning and developing skills. I'm grateful working with TCS.

Everyones behaviour is superb. They respect individuals. Work culture is good. Campuses are very secure also they provide both way cab facilities . Job security is awesome.

Dislikes

Career growth 20% Promotion and hikes are not good. In BPS, most project Managements are not good. They don't want to develop the project. 100% WFO is there, so it's are big myth that TCS providingWFO.

Bad work life culture there is no work life balance there. They want you to work on weekends as well without ot. Shift timings are not fix management are very bad and have toxic environment and not even provide client holiday...

•TCS is a good company to work for. •They provide very good mediclaim for the employee as well as the family members. •Work environment depends on the Project and the Project Manager. •Work Life Balance is really good.

•Growth is very slow, •Appraisal is too low, •Office Politics are there, •Depending upon Luck if you get into any low budget project then your life will be difficult. •Most Project Managers are in TCS for more than a decade and treat the Associates and other members like the principal of a boarding school. Didn't liked at all. If they are in need, will listen all your problems. After need is completed, they won't attend any of your issues and themselves releases from the project that is what happened with me. Now I'm being forced to join office no issues if I'm having medical conditions in my family. They just need their work to be done which is okay but upto some extent.
