I was so shocked how big names could disaapoint me so much. Literally I used to feel so worst that i used to cry in office bathroom it's the worst experience I got. Since I joined as a fresher, working with the experienced once helps us gain a lot of knowledge, TCS also focuses well on skill development and learning, the access to LinkedIn learning and udemy is very useful. Also since devices are provided by tcs itself this is very helpful as not everyone owns a laptop.

Dislikes

The pay at TCS is very low, the promotion and appraisal process is really bad, the food in the canteen is also expensive and not of good quality.

The work culture depends upon the kind of project you are assigned to. In my case I was made to believe I am joining for one role while the actual work was very different from my field. Even after talking to higher level management didi not get a solution to it. We work in night shifts so we are eligible for NSA which we are not receiving on time. The transport provided is not satisfactory and is treated as a privilege we are receiving. There is lots of politics inside the projects. Higher management keeps breaking the good relations colleagues have with each others. Salary payout is less. Overall it is very demoralizing to work there....Read More

Every thing is good but Salary for freshers is worst and that too with worst promotion. If you are coming from different company with 3 to 5 years of experience than it is good. Also Shift timing in many projects changes every week which badly effect your health.
