Appraisal and recommendations are not satisfactory. India's inflation rate starts at 8% hence if yearly appraisal is below 5% then we are not even beating the inflation with our hike which is a pain at TCS

Best company to work with complete job satisfaction work and family life balance is well maintained.

Dislikes

Biggest drawback of the company is no-rehiring policy this policy refrains pulling back the employees who have left the organisation and want to rejoin the organisation I wish if this policy would be abrogated I would be very happy to rejoin. Salary increment is quite slow in pace that is again a pain point it could get little better.

I likes about the TCS is good work culture, low work pressure, work-life balance, lots of opportunities to learn and the most job security.

Dislikes

It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.

TCS is good but the management is worst I have ever seen even the HR is not supportive at any way. They tag forcefully to the project and threaten to everyone if you are not joining so and so project we will terminate you and spoil your ratings. Currently some projects are just started and trainings are going on but HR and management is forced to do overtime on Saturday and Sunday if we say to to do overtime because of our personal pre planned schedules but they threaten us to do otherwise they do worst with us they forces us to not take leave for personal purposes or even don’t allow us to take sick leave they strictly force us to submit medical documents on the first days . This is totally mentally harassment but we can’t do anything in this because HR is also supporting this kind of work....Read More

The working professionals in the company, they tend to be suicide, exploring their powers. They have gained while working in the organisation over the new commerce, creating an environment for everyone for kids at least in my project..

If you are good at what you do then people don't release you,, there is a policy that if there is no issue with the associate then project will not release you before 2years,, even if you want to leave. There is no way to upgrade your skills ... i have been with TCS with so many years but never got a chance to work in a good projects or got a good role is it because of my fate or what don't know but over all my work experience with Tcs is very bad or worst. There is a variable pay every quarter but its valid for only those whose salary is as it is good but those who have less salary they don't get paid anything but they have been asked to come to office on a regular basis what a great rule has been made. People here having so much of attitude problem if they knows something they will not even give a chance to seat and learn with them quite mean people working in the organisation.. There is no way to get the promotion and if you are working as a analyst management will be showing as if they are the boss and they are paying you.. Not at all happy working with TCS and i will never recommend anyone to work here... i know people will still come madly to work here because its the Tata company but i wish they would have given the opportunity to anyone......Read More
