Trainings and Knowledge Base is really good at the company. Best place for a great learning curve and start to the career. I also have a good work life balance here. The culture is great. Everything depends on the project you get. Since it is a large organisation one has to create their own visibility. I have had a great experience here overall.
Salary hikes are very very slow. Secondly, i have received 20 -25% hike as well but the process involved is such a drag. Promotions are slow too. Despite being an outstanding performer for 2 years consecutively, i have not been promoted once in the last 3.5 years. Only received a progression, which is not a job level change.

Highly toxic work culture. Unit heads run the units as their private enterprises. Very fragile egos. Asking any question can be a reason enough for them to spoil your career. Unit heads create fake proofs for promoting their favorites and also they do the same when they have to spoil anyone's career. HR is for manager protection andnot for employee. You will join and leave the company at the same salary. Employee going on sick leave is also used against them during appraisals. Initiatives like IJP, salary correction and appraisals are all hoax. There is nothing great working at Infosys except slogging and .
Doing unproductive tasks in the project. Productive work will be 30-40 % . Rest is unproductive work like excel work, documenting etc. Career is doomed working with such organisation. The worst is the management. They give a deaf ear to our expectations, issues etc. Always lazying and only waking up when the client makes any sound. Such an unprofessional organisation.

Work culture and policies. Good work life balance if you are in a good project.
No hikes for the past several years. Getting promotions or on site is extremely difficult. Even if you get a promotion, a major share of your hike will be allocated to performance bonus, which you would never get fully.

From a fresher perspective, the campus, the exposure to IT world is a great experience and you can learn with infosys learning platform lex. It's a great start.
From a fresher perspective, You will get project based on your luck or if you know someone in there who can pull you into their project. The growth is not much for fresher people. People have to leave the company after 2.5-3 years to grow. Because for the same amount of work, the market salary will be minimum of 3x times. Even for senior roles also, the hikes and all is bare minimum.

Working culture is totally depends upon client and project. For our project there WFO-hybrid is not mandatory upto JL5 l, so that is good thing for me.
Appraisal/promotion not happened sonce last 3 years, no project party, no team lunch, no diwali bonus/gift. Comp-off will get if you worked for 2 days then only you get 1 comp-off, no extra pay.

Early 4 percentage hile in basic pay on take home salary, at least inflation percentage must be given. If you are promoted then 10-15 percentage that is also when you are in low salary. When you came as experienced for some good package you will be promoted but without hike.

I work in Wongdoody-Infosys. Wongdoody is the design team. The work culture at Infosys overall is good. The work culture at Wongdoody-Infosys if slightly better. Work life balance is good.
The salary is so damn low! Plus they didn't give hike to folks past 2 years. On the other hand, they are hiring more people - I don't know what's the logic. Projects are okay-ish. You will get a great project very rarely.
