No Salary hikes, no promotions, no value for the head wor, appraisal process is worst process I feel like it is a scam to escape hikes. Salary will not at all depends on rating, no use if you get Distinction performance or Exceptional performance, no good projects, no growth, even freshers will get good salary than experienced, difference college people get different hikes for freshers if you are coming from top colleges you will get good salary when you join as freshers...Read More

Nothing much but it gives salary on time that's the only good part of it and has events regularly celebrated.

Dislikes

Many: 1. Work life balance is nill. They treat employees as slave and make you work for almost 14-15 hrs per day 2. The way they treat employees is pathetic - if you are facing any problem there will be no one to hear you or stand by you. All are teamed up at the end 3. There is no career growth at all. They do harassment of their employees and their is an hr named Vivek Sateeja working in HCl lucknow till now, who mentally tortures their employees and forces them to resign due to which I am still unemployed. They spoil career of innocent employees.

Work life balance is good. They won't keep you ideal. They keep giving you training and upgrade even in bench.

Dislikes

Starting itself for a long time we were in bench, due to which less career growth happened. Salary is less. No proper appraisal cycle and appraisal is also less. Job security was there earlier now when u stay in bench for 1 month you should have HR call fear then.

They will give appraisal if you spent minimum 2 years. No work from home even if your family members are in critical situation. If you got 10 score ,your rating will be decreased by SDM(Overall project manager).They suddenly gave WFH at October or November month because company release compensation letter during these months.

It gives WFH opportunity which is good as compared other tech giants.

Dislikes

Appraisal is very poor, cannot think about promotion within 1-2 yrs experience. Promotion mostly takes after 5 yrs and that also done very rarely.

No skill growth bad and worst management there will be group of frnds managing gang in hcl around 30 people in life science lob and banking also they will safe garu this people by using new joinees and technology persons they will use them and throw away but the frnds group will won't do anything simple putting pressure on inocent hard working people

Managers are supportive if you are fortunate. Cafe is good. Good facility inside campus.

Dislikes

Shifts are hectic sometimes. HR are very rude. Opportunities for switching tech stack is very low.

It is an MNC. Have large number of projects. People don't sit in pool for long.

Salary hikes are not at all good. Internal projects are worst. People retires from HCL because they know they won't be able to learn anything to face the tough market

They will offers you training on various technologies with some good hands on, upto bond period. They will provide some internal certifications like aws cloud practitioner and azure fundamentals,etc..

Dislikes

HCL is lack of projects since most of the employees is on bench for longer period and they will not gain real time experience in project,so it will be very difficult to sustain in market with theoretical experience.so it will be better to join in startup companies for freshers.

You'll get good job security and appraisals as well. It will be adventurous to work in HCLTech. I have good times when I worked at HCLTech.

Overtime working. We worked 10 or more hours. Work life is imbalance with my project especially.
