This is the most honest reflection of my experience at HCLTech. One area for improvement at HCLTech is the transparency in management processes. Despite receiving positive feedback during performance reviews, employees may unexpectedly be placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), as I experienced after nearly three years of service. Additionally, there can be inconsistencies in HR processes, where HR may reference negative feedback from managers, even when the PIP portal reflects positive reviews. This misalignment between management and HR creates confusion and diminishes trust. Moreover, the tendency toward micromanagement can limit employee independence and growth. Furthermore, most projects at HCLTech are focused on tech support. If you are an experienced developer looking to continue in a development role, it is advisable not to join. When you feel something is wrong (which you will) directly escalate to SVP and CPO. Middle management lacks authenticity. I dislike how the senior managers will steal your variable pay and put it in their pockets for their appraisal. Billed or non billed expect no respect. Especially in Financial services vertical.

I like the campus of Hcltech Noida sez. And the flexibility in working hours.

They Don't give any increments and variable. Inspite of the exceptional performer rating in the annual appraiser . If you are in good books of RM then only you can expect anything. No job security . As when you are on bench immediately HR start making the call and force the employee to write the self resignation in front of them.
