People say focus on new learnings, but will put you on work for almost 14 hours a day. People managers and mid level managers who don't code are worst here, they will make sure that your work life balance will be in hell, your mental state will be very low, you will get less motive to work everyday. Initially I didn't want to complain much but focus on my work, but every time listening to same harassing words even if it's not your fault is not quite pleasant. They are more focusing on ox like working culture, rather than discussions and involvement on design and architecture. Most of the managers who act like leading the project don't provide enough data, and even when asking they will say you should probably know it in the beginning, the work environment is very bad. Company and its operation policy are good but people Who are leading team are not capable enough to direct team according to company values and policies. Work life balance is critical in some of the projects. And it's transportation policy makes you loose your time atleast for 2hours in a day excluding travel time. Leads are not transparent in giving ratings, OT pay won't given on time and most of the time no full OT will be given ,if work extra 10 hours it will be given 1 or 2 hours based on the leads mood. People at workplace are toxic. You work equal to your seniors. There less salary and fun events compared to other companies. In finance we extend a lot during volume periods.

Accenture has changed in the past 3 years, it was absolutely fantastic before across all parameters. They have moved from Client and People centric to Cost and Profit centric. They are resorting to pathetic measures to remove people, just because it doesn't support their cost and profits.

The people here are very supportive, if you're lucky enough you might get good exposure with the Projects or Business Development activities

They randomly assign people to any project, which ideally has nothing to do with Management consulting tag. No promotions and hikes.

Most of the people I met are very nice to each other. Skill benefit program and for freshers there are diff programs to skill up and with in 1 year freshers can get promoted to next level by taking the Tech leap exam. If anyone got promoted the hike also will be minimum of 22.5 percentage.

Dislikes

Food cuisine need to update. They offer more skill up to developers but not testers.

By far the worst company with the worst management that I have experienced in 12 years of my career. The worst 3 months.. They talk big..look big..but is as hollow as an empty bucket in terms of innovation, growth and employee treatment. Bangalore Management is extremely poor. Especially their senior manager - Abhilash Verghese and people close to him like Devendra Bhargava, Niladri Sekhar and a few others who have a sort of syndicate.. they do not allow new employees to learn..participate or even explore areas of interest. They are a group of little unsecured girls in the body of men. Fossils in the company.. Have no clue where their careers are going.. Where power automate is the most important tool for automation, one can understand their knowledge. The reputation of Accenture 10 years back is lost completely in the hands of these incapable, unskillful and insecure individuals who cannot allow talent . They fear loosing their positions in the hands of new talents.. Even a grocery store treats employees better. I can't recall a single day that I did not have to work for more than 12-13 hours.. work life balance is a myth in Accenture. The management of certain projects are so toxic, they'll force us to work around 10-13 hours every day and on weekend due to their poor project planning. To manage team of 8, we have 5 managers and they have budget issue to add junior resources.
