Few things you will like about working in TCS is the name, work flexibility, learning modules on new technologies to upskill yourself and medical benefits.

Dislikes

Let's say people are just lathargic on issues when raised. They will simply sit on it, waiting for someone else or the employee to take it up. Plus no promotions for honest employees just for the ones who work for the management rather than the project or company. Grievance is one option to fight for what you deserve but it is managed by TCS management so you will not get what you will deserve unless you out up a case in labour court. Not recommended for freshers. Difficult to find project according to choice. Almost impossible. Slow and inefficient management &HR. 5 Days work from office. Slow promotions and increments.

The fact that out of 3 years I am in bench for 1 year For 1 and a half I was working on a role I absolutely disliked. I eventually excelled and got interview for Sr Data Engineer role... I cracked it and completed the 4 Month. Now I am in bench again

Everything. No scope for improvement. Same donkey work every day without appreciation or any recognition. Promotions are on hold due to some silly RTO index thing. Will always find new reasons to not benefit employees even after consistently working so hard for so many years. No work life balance at all.
