The fact that out of 3 years I am in bench for 1 year For 1 and a half I was working on a role I absolutely disliked. I eventually excelled and got interview for Sr Data Engineer role... I cracked it and completed the 4 Month. Now I am in bench again

Everything. No scope for improvement. Same donkey work every day without appreciation or any recognition. Promotions are on hold due to some silly RTO index thing. Will always find new reasons to not benefit employees even after consistently working so hard for so many years. No work life balance at all.

Poor appraisal and no career growth, they don’t care about what kind of work you want to do, you will only be a resource to them. And now they are asking to work from office 5 days a week, when there are many companies which are allowing their associates to work in hybrid mode.

TCS boasts commendable governance policies, but their effectiveness relies heavily on consistent implementation, especially by managers and leads. In my seven years of experience, I've observed that the quality of your manager significantly influences your work satisfaction, as some managers are leads act as if they solely control the project, lacking respect for other's opinions and lacking people management skills. Certain individual in managerial position make false promises regarding onsite opportunities, creating a competitive environment where favorites are chosen regardless of performance. Internal switch or technology changes withing TCS are notably challenging compared to external transitions.
