Freshers can learn and gain skills sets and can switch to another company. Tcs is not like company it is more of like school. After college you can start your professional journey from here. But it has its own drawback which I'll discuss in dislike section. Some of Its policy is good but also these have its own drawback XD. such as health insurance benifits, No layoff policy.

Lack of employee centric policy. Most of the people working here because of job security and life insurance benifits. Salary of a freshers is not practical according to current days scenario. Freshers have less scope to grow up and less promotion opportunities. No matters how much work are you delivering higher management will only force you to come back office. Some people do nothing literally just only sucking the company. Management is puppet. If anyone (freshers) wants to do nothing after 10 years and he or she belongs to a rich family where your salary is just your pocket money. then yes u can choose tcs blindly....Read More

I really like the work culture and support from manager. And they gives us more time to enhance new technology. I have to say one word it's one of the best platform to work-life balance and job security. If they are provide me 50% hike I never ever left the TCS because as per my experience I received very low package and everytime I was felt underpaid.

Job security is good. Even if you perform bad, at max you will be removed from project and placed in a different project

They are into coolie employment. When someone leaves the team, they will not find a replacement. The work will be shared with remaining people and then it will be shown to higher management that the project can run with less people. Keep unrealistic deadlines. All incompetent higher management are collected here. They literally treat employees as low level people who should listen to whatever they say. They dangle the dreams of high hike and then in the end say company gave less we can't do anything. All managers have only 1 skill, shout at employees in all calls in front of everyone and get the work done. I suggest no one should join the organisation. I joined initially thinking Ratan Tata values will be followed, but dint even give holiday when he died. Do not join here. Low salary, worst work life balance, worst managers. If you are planning to join. Join at your own risk. Also they have completely work from office policy, if you don't go to office everyday your salary will be deducted, and your promotion will also be cancelled and they give the reason that you are not following company policy. Do not join Internal projects in TCS like ultimatix,Sentinel.Team is very toxic.You will not get release unless you complete 3 years.You should join only client projects where you will learn lot.Do not join TCS Nagpur .Instead you can join TCS pune or any other.Many people in TCS Nagpur are on bench.RMG is totally hopeless.HR is also same.RMG and HR team have forcefully put people's in support projects like Global helpdesk,IS teams where you will not learn anything....Read More

Worst place to work , no proper management, no salary increment however hard you work for the team, politics at its peak, can't grow knowledge and Skills, lacking of skilled senior employees, seniors and management just a puppet not using their mind to uplift tram and work culture, toxic environment in rmg and project allocation team.

There are several projects in TCS. But don’t ever try to go NIQ project. You will be exahusted. The amount of pressure in that project is insane. You don’t even have a social life. You need to work overnight and even on holidays and weekends. And if you complaint to your manager then no use. For them client is a god. And once you get into this project, dont expect any release.
