Work culture at TCS was pretty good for me a lot less stressful with all facilities available inside campus.

Dislikes

Growth is slow in terms of salary and learning. Sometimes you may excellent project opportunities for growth but chances of getting such projects is very low

Everything about TCS is bad. They will harass you for everything like Work from office, appraisals, ratings, project allocation as per your skills etc nothing is aligned. There is a lot of favouritism and most of the time favours their regional colleague.

•RMG in TCS is bad as they don’t give any bother about you or the your dreams. Especially with young professionals between 1-4 years they don’t respect and treat as commodities and assign you projects against your will. Not 100% RMG are this way as I have noticed some good people among them but most of them just want to achieve their targets. Salary is below average and they don’t believe in making salary upto market standard. As per TCs senior management, TCS is known for job security and not good salary. If you don’t like it here , enjoy somewhere else. If you put down your paper, they will congratulate you 😂

Leads and HR here feels they own the employees they don’t even care how badly it impacts the mental health of employees. Even the mental health support helplines are useless

As everyone mentions job security is great. Skill development and learning aspect is good but very less chance of using it practically what ever you have learnt. In TCS everything depends on what project you are in. If you are in BPS tag its better to develop skills and salary hike for BPS is very less

Before anyone reading this once again i have to mention everything depends on the project. 1. Work culture 2. Managers are toxic and they treat you badly 3. There is no use of having certain skills and not using it practically 4. They don't respect the skills set you are having 5. There is very less hike for BPS tag. 6. If you ever moved to bench, While attending project interview. Don't trust managers whatever they say and don't give approval to mail easily by trusting manager information. 7. HR works for the company and manager. Don't trust HR. To be specific TCS HRs are joke. 8. Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

Job Security, Industry leading Health Insurance coverage up to 14lakhs plus 6000 domiciliary expenses. Term Insurance(6times CTC), TATA Trust loan for Higher education of children plus on Health Emergency. If you can spend time in learning then here lot of free learning tools are available

Due to mass hiring you will find less skilled people around you. Feels like Freshers training is not up to mark. Other service based companies provides good training to freshers so that It makes them ready to work resources but here I worked with many freshers and feels like they are not trained well so not able to perform well in job.

Nothing new to learn new. Most of the projects are support very few development projects. If you are lucky then you get chance to work in development projects. My suggestion if you are new in professional career never join TCS. Learning graph is linear salary hike and promotion is almost negligible

There Project Relase process ,If somehow you tagged in a project which don't matches with your skills set ..Then you can't change it..This is specially for freshers.
