-Salary increment is very poor compare to inflation rate a lot of deductions, also during increment they just adjust some of the components in the CTC, no promotion since 3 years just changing positions and increasing workload internally (that also not on the paper) and not giving money for additional workload (simply exploitation) and lot of micromanagement. - They prefer to give more packge to new joiner than currently working professionals who already have expertise and we have to train them, also sometimes they used to get work done from freshers for cost cutting; here also we have to train the freshers. - Also some of the project managers are expecting a work from employees during weekends too. - And the limit was reached when they asked to submit backpack when I was leaving the organization which was provided during the joining time otherwise you have to bourne money i.e. cost of backpack as a fine (never seen such a miser organization before)....Read More

The promotion and appraisal procedure is bad and Company is not interested to retain their employees who gives the effort throughout the year. The higher management is not skillfull and they do not want to understand the real problems. The cost of food in their own canteen is higher.

My overall TCS experience is good. I learned lot of new things in a TCS. TCS gives opportunity to learn new technologies.

Dislikes

TCS is a service base company so maximum revenue they are earning from support projects. Fresher's expect more development project but maximum time fresher's get allocated to support projects.

The hikes are very less compared to other companies and i have been here for 7 years which is not all equal to my salary. I hope company should look at those people who are working for TCS for years and still not getting basic hike for every year which is not sufficient for their needs and still suffering to save some money

Promotion was on hold for more than 2 years and I was in the same role for more than 5 years Very less percentage of hike and more percentage of paycut ex: your overall salary increased by 6% your health insurance premium will increase by 60% which is mentioned in your CTC Very less amount of PF contribution not even cross 40K per year Very less gratuity amount from your CTC only

Do not join Internal projects in TCS like ultimatix,Sentinel.Team is very toxic.You will not get release unless you complete 3 years.You should join only client projects where you will learn lot.Do not join TCS Nagpur .Instead you can join TCS pune or any other.Many people in TCS Nagpur are on bench.RMG is totally hopeless.HR is also same.RMG and HR team have forcefully put people's in support projects like Global helpdesk,IS teams where you will not learn anything....Read More

There are several projects in TCS. But don’t ever try to go NIQ project. You will be exahusted. The amount of pressure in that project is insane. You don’t even have a social life.
