They are into coolie employment. When someone leaves the team, they will not find a replacement. The work will be shared with remaining people and then it will be shown to higher management that the project can run with less people. Keep unrealistic deadlines. They dangle the dreams of high hike and then in the end say company gave less we can't do anything.
