You can have your work life balance easily as there is not much work pressure and you can take your time without having fear of losing a job.

Dislikes

With work life balance comes dark things basically not much salary even though if you would be doing a work of 2-3 people you will get salary as chiller here and promotions and hike is just a joke with maximum 6% yearly hike and no promotions till first 4 years.

List is too long but I'll short with career progression in terms of salary, you'll get additional responsibilities daily but no compensation. No facilities for employees in office

1. Work hard and still no promotion. 2. Going above and beyond will get you gems(internal currency) and from that you can only get stuff that company has as merch. 3. I'm not against bulk hiring but as a consequence salary is already lower than market and since hikes are low as well so basically if you stay for couple years then you'll notice your friends with a package far greater than yourself. 4. Salary is very less here as compared to market standards. Moreover hike percentage is very low. Average hike is around 4-6% only.

Nothing. Lots of team politics. Doesn't matter you work hard and over time, still you will be getting b and c bands because of the team politics and bcz management wants other ppl to work by luring them with bait in terms of band which is not even proportional to their productivity hoping that they would work. Still ppl Don't work. In a team of 6-7 ppl 2-3 ppl will be doing the work of whole team while rest just give excuses of no knowledge in the problems and that is being accepted by management. There are so many management leaks, just bcz managers and leads doesn't wanna do their job of managing at right time so they also ask ppl to work who already are over burdened. They keep encouraging this careless attitude for the employees not taking responsibility and not delivering work. This is overall very demotivating for ppl who are actually working, honest and responsible. Everything: No bonus No incentives No time to work on enhancing your skills No proper training for handling stuffs No equal work distribution You are expected to forget your family and provide 24*7 support. No appreciation No rewards Hike almost none - 2-4% yearly Even if you are providing extended support and working in other ppl's shift bcz of their lack in learning, you are blamed for not being glued to your phone 24*7 in off time And even then there is no appreciation acknowledgement, rather you are blamed. Ppl eat your credit, asks for help all the time, most of their work is done by spoon feeding from you and even then they go behind your back to your managers completely discrediting you by which the managers even get influenced. No hierarchy followed for learning and senior - junior relationship. Managers keep encouraging no work attitude from juniors and ppl who join team afterwards. Everything. No scope for improvement. Same donkey work every day without appreciation or any recognition. Promotions are on hold due to some silly RTO index thing. Will always find new reasons to not benefit employees even after consistently working so hard for so many years. No work life balance at all.

Unwanted dramas and forced to work even if we opt to leave due to some personal reasons. Getting release from a project or leaving the organisation also needs some confirmation from managers which is not fair. They don't hear ur concerns and they will do what they had to do. Just waste ur time by asking what is ur concern ? No use of revealing ..

No growth oppertunity. Salary is very less for freshers and there is no oppertunity for increment or promotion at all, even if we stay 10 years. Management is partial towards people with connections, rather than people who work hard, and they openly accept it.l, which I feel is very toxic if you actually are a hard worker.

One of the software engineer in tcs having 4 years of experience called me while skill evaluation and he told me " people begging me to get coding in this project. You have to work under me only.". If you mail to anyone in tcs, he will not respond unless and until you add someone higher authority person in CC. Only big doesn't matter and building big is not end but the way you setup process to work organization is important. Functioning is important and not the size. You will get a good work life balance and your after retirement benifits would be the best. I think even the medical insurance that tcs provides is best in the market. The senior management is also good.

I don't like the salary part and very less benifits and perks are provided. Even the increaments is very less. I felt like I am not getting paid as much as what my value of work is.
