Appraisal and hike cycle needs to be validated. Identify the key talent and encourage them with right pay scale. This is really missing

LTIMindtree is a company which has good vision. The CEO Mr. DC vision is great and it is in growth path. Company is focusing in new Age technologies, which is very good strategy. If I talk as a normal employee, 1. Company has 3 or 4 offices in Bangalore which is a very good strategy as people can come and work there. 2. There are some shift allowance and free food (Just Rs 80/-) per day. 3. It is definitely better than some big Service based MNC's. 4. Many additional perks are there from P5 band. 5. Dislikes

1. Power is fully under the project managers and they themselves believe that Technical people can't manage things. 2. Even though you are P5 or P6, there are less chance that you will not get reportees under you. 3. Middle level managers are more interested in becoming Managers than leaders. 4. Managers will make sure that technical people wont get visibility.

HAve been part of the LTIMindtree from past 3 years and so far its been a wonderful journey. they are trying to bring policies to balance work and personal life in a better way. most of the policies are employee friendly. have been supportive especially during covid times. so far i would say its a good ride and not a roller coaster ride.

for the resource who are part of the company from a long time they tend not to give promotion and salary hike as per the industry standards which i think is a major drawback if they want to retain talented and key resources in the company who can directly influence client to bring more project and resources

Boss culture and pleasing higher ups is the only way to secure yourself. Hiring SMEs and then putting them through a thoroughly unproductive cycle making multiple stakeholder hops, passing the buck around showing steep lack of ownership. The environment is non-conducive for growth, and leaves people with a sense of apathy for human relationships. The caricature leadership only knows how to shoot placing a gun on your shoulder, and let you face the music.
