Sugar coated JDs. Many hired as Data Scientist to work on totally different, non data science projects which require no data science skills, not even python or R lang or Statistical Analysis. Management is not at all helpful. HR team or project allocation team will never entertain you for your queries. Anytime you will be told to stop working on your current project and will be asked to join some other project. Once you get released from the project, management will ask you to join some irrelevant project and if you deny to join and ask them for the relevant project only then they will put you on bench. You will be forced to learn something different than your actual technologies and skill sets for any random project. Update: After the merger with LTI group, lot of policies have changed. LOP will be there in case you take more then the credited leave balance in one go. Work from home is no longer an option. Covid related leave plans or support have been discontinued. * It's on a constant decline since past few years. Management people, HR etc are almost unresponsive & unavailable for any & every work related issues you face. * If you get assigned as a Contractor for any client then your career will be at a toss. You will get no benefits either from Mindtree or from Client, Job security will be big question, Hikes & Appraisals will be almost non-existent, you might be made to work extra long hours & on weekends without any kind of compensation at all * You can be asked to work in junior positions & irrelevant roles & tasks irrespective of your designation, experience & skills. * Mindtree now is not the same Mindtree once it used to be. Don't go by the "Big brand" name mindset, most of the Mid-Level organizations are doing way better than these bigger IT organizations in India now & they offer much better benefits, work satisfaction, employee benefits & Job security overall....Read More
