WPC bench supporting team is worst in HCL, then never assigned to resources to the correct project and if they want to release from the company, they will simply transfer the employee to different location and apply frustrated resigning. The company.

Appraisal process is very bad. There is no standardisation of salary as per band, someone is getting 8 lacs on a position and another one is getting 18 lacs on the same position. Trainings are available, but managers ask to do work during the training, so can’t get proper knowledge.

HCLTech need to improve promotion/Appraisal policy. Culture/campus 126 Noida is very good, skills specific role mapping need to be improve. HR is similar to Mr India.

Difficult to change team or project. EPB deductions. Higher management decisions for low band employees without any discussion.

Nothing as such to liked. As management is completely biased. HCL only tries to frustrate and take off your salary in every way possible.

Dislikes

Starting from HR to the manager, everyone is a lier and theft. They just blame you for something or the other and deduct your salary in every way possible. Don't fall for the trap of EPB bonus. How good you perform, your score and performance bonus will always be zero and deduct all the salary.

Micromanagement, limited learning, no growth after a couple of years, no expectations from management on any issue. Experienced people will not share any knowledge or SOPs and create so much dependencies.....

Good work life balance. Managers are understanding in nature.

Apprisal process is never transperent and never on time. Annual apprisals closed last may itself but till now revision letters not generated. I recently moved to bench. During bench period, HCL provided laptops pose worst experience. With that laptop, nothing could be done. So many restrictions. Instead HCl could encourage employees to use their personal laptops during bench period, which would help them in upskilling purpose. They have multiple projects to work. You will get preference in switching from one project to the other. No work pressure. If you want to spend a comfortable work life then welcome to HCL. Very good office, well maintained campus.
