Dislikes

Most people have become too much attached to Salary and their good Appraisals. They blame others for existing issues. Those who can fidht back are able to stay. So now its become a place for dangerous people only who can go out of way for doing unwanted things. I dont want to be a part of such environment hence i have resigned.

Everything based on management. I have been spending more than 7 years. I see three management change. I realized all of above management plays a big role. If they are good your good if not bad.

Huge scope to explore multiple learnings and projects.

Many important areas are still following huge complex processes. Example the process in travel, claims, progressions, appraisals, new onboardings, hirings, etc. Missing transparency in the process wherever monetary benefits involved. Very less salaries compared to other competitors., they cannot sustain with family if they are moving to onsite through deputation.

Toxic management. No Job security. Appraisal and promotion policies are very poor and hardly you will get only single digit appraisal even if you get the best rating.

Oppertunites for overall growth the company gives and the trainings imparted to you from time to time. The social security benefits like Insurance etc which Wipro provides to its employees. The strict ethics and honesty practised by the company all along with zero tolerence for any deviation in ethics for business and employee behaviour

Dislikes

The politics played by senior personnel in favouring only those who appreciate and obey them wholeheartedly irrespective of any process .

Nothing is good here. No work life balance. Management is worst

Dislikes

Worst bench policy. They dont give promotion and hike and if you will ask they will put you on bench saying project budget issue. Only 45 days paid bench period and then complete loss of pay.

Everything . They are now monitoring productivity. So you need to work 9.5 hours . They can make you resign anytime. Very low increment. I am 5 star and I got 5% hike . Not good project. They force you to take any position even if you don't have experience. I have 5 years of experience as .net developer but they were forcing me to take QA position as they don't have project. Wipro employee skills are very low. If you joined from other company you will realise people who joined Wipro as fresh they don't have any skill. 3 months notice period is a biggest headache for you . There is no such factor to loke this company especially Chennai location

Wipro Chennai location especially not a good work culture firm, there is a partiality amon the Chennai and outside Tamil people, Manager always point out non locals who are out side Chennai people....job security is very worst...Manager is not a supportive person, they only supports Tamil people.
