Wipro in 2024-25, lost many projects and unnecessarily hiring people not able to give any projects to them. I would suggest to go for Wipro as last option. Company policies are not constant and keep changing as they want.

Hired for java developer role , assured that it's a development project by project manager . After 2 months they said there is no development work it's a support project. Now unable to move to different project

Work life balance. Empathy from HR always lacks. Out my total work experience I could never get any reply from HR. Even at resignation no HR came up in front. I have to go and ask about my lwd formalities. The WIPRO which I heard when I was a kid is different from what I have seen.

promotion is not possible. i have 2.7 years of experience in wipro and overall 8 years and handling a team but they’re not ready to change my band from b-2 to b-3 and i got excuses like ramp down happening, there’s no budget, company not earning, you have not spent much time in current project like that even you’re getting 4-5 stars in every quarterly cycle

Team mates and project manager is good and supportive. I have some issues at home medically also 1 year baby but still I am able to manage the work. Its because of the team we have.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike is we dont have good salary benefits here. Apart from this everything is ok.

Work culture is toxic. There no humanity in their dictionary. They will force you to work in extreme codification, even your family members died. Moreover, lead will give you negative feedback to upper management. And if you try to have word on your issue, no one will listen. Too much politics. No hike from last 2 yes. You will be forced to work for 15 hs and more. They will always promise for next year and that will never ever come true....Read More
