Job security is better other companies. They don’t work on hire and fire basis.

If wipro is your first company, it is very difficult to get a competitive salary after 3-4 years or after that. Promotion is also very difficult to get. Even for laterals, they don’t get hikes once they hired( or it is too less)

Many important areas are still following huge complex processes. Example the process in travel, claims, progressions, appraisals, new onboardings, hirings, etc. Missing transparency in the process wherever monetary benefits involved. Very less salaries compared to other competitors., they cannot sustain with family if they are moving to onsite through deputation.

Oppertunites for overall growth the company gives and the trainings imparted to you from time to time. The social security benefits like Insurance etc which Wipro provides to its employees. The strict ethics and honesty practised by the company all along with zero tolerence for any deviation in ethics for business and employee behaviour

Dislikes

The politics played by senior personnel in favouring only those who appreciate and obey them wholeheartedly irrespective of any process .

I will never recommend Wipro to anyone as I had worst experience within 3 months of joining. They did not allocate the project as per my skills and expertise and they compelled me to accept the project work. I resigned in 3 months.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager forsomething after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world.....Read More
