Highly biased operations Manager - Salma Sattar Shaikh (Handling a process under connect group as Smiths News) -- very poor management . She is extremely toxic for people and revengeful as well in a very very cleaver manner . Being a QA i have personally witnessed many of the tenured team leaders leaving the organization because of her mood swings , a total drama queen on floor and even agents are aware of her behavior. Currently she is running this process as her family business . I left the organization in June 2024 , even now some of the leads and SME's call and share about there grievance of being tortured by her. Anyone planning to join Tech M be very very cautious as DO NOT JOIN SMIITHS NEWS as there is no employee centricity and there are no efforts to retain employee even is they give their blood & sweat for the company . Extremely toxic Manager . Least bothered to save tenured employees . Nothing in black and white . Excess grey matter . She had be showcasing her SME as an assistant manager (Surpassing the growth hierarchy) Operates like a small gang. The recruitment process was good, they took people bulkly. First 3 months training was good.

Dislikes

The project allocation process was discusting. Even if you can't clear the final exam 1st time you will allocated into good project and those who will clear the exam they get into some bad project. Also there was some very good project you can allocate into while giving the extra exam but allocation team will choose their own preference despite of you are eligible for the exam. For experienced you can't able to change the project due to their discusting project allocation team. And for freshers you will be terminated after your bond completion. And forget about Hike and promotion, even base salary is too low for the current market scenario. You will work here like slave without getting any recognition....Read More

I would like to say much. But the bitter truth is there is no pros in this organization except the brand Tech Mahindra. There is no word like employee benefits in tech M dictionary. In 3 years I haven't eveb got a single tea cup from organization 😂

Tech Mahindra is an absolutely amazing organisation, the colleagues were amazing and the managerial staff were also supportive.

Dislikes

Everything. The work culture at tech Mahindra is very toxic, people do plan and plot politics against each other for no reason. Salary issues are there, shift issues, you will always be working and won't get to time even to use washroom etc.

honestly, I did not like anything about the company from day one how they treated the employee literally like a puppet as the employee does have another way to do this job

they don't even provide any computer hardware to the employees when we are at work we have to find the proper working keyboard and mouse to plug to our system when we had to start the work

Before 2019 I felt everything ok. But, in recent times nothing to share which felt ok except If you are working you will get Salary on time.

Bench period seems to be dangerous. If somebody is on bench then start Looking for job in another Company. Please don't trust you will get project once released. May be its a challanging time for tech m.

Career development is very good in tech mahindra also techmahindra provide jobs to understand graduates who are pursuing distance education.

Salary increment is very bad in tech mahindra, no matter what position you get your salary wont increase as per the position and experience, and they provide hp laptops and they hang a lot, being an MIS i felt like they should provide better laptops to the people who work on heavy task, the performance of the laptops are very poor.
