Working at TCS was a great experience because of its structured approach to training and development. I appreciated the opportunity to work on diverse projects, which helped me build a strong foundation in data analysis and process management. Dislikes

TCS offered an excellent platform to develop my foundational skills and gain exposure to various processes. However, I found that the scope of my role became more routine over time, and I was looking for opportunities to take on more challenging, innovative projects. This prompted me to seek roles that better align with my long-term career goals and allow me to expand my expertise.

Don't join tcs as a fresher, make experience of 10 to 12 years then join tcs with a higher package and enjoy the health insurance.(Only for BPS and BPO candidates)

Since I joined as a fresher, working with the experienced once helps us gain a lot of knowledge, TCS also focuses well on skill development and learning, the access to LinkedIn learning and udemy is very useful. Also since devices are provided by tcs itself this is very helpful as not everyone owns a laptop.

Dislikes

The pay at TCS is very low, the promotion and appraisal process is really bad, the food in the canteen is also expensive and not of good quality.

The work culture depends upon the kind of project you are assigned to. In my case I was made to believe I am joining for one role while the actual work was very different from my field. Even after talking to higher level management didi not get a solution to it. We work in night shifts so we are eligible for NSA which we are not receiving on time. The transport provided is not satisfactory and is treated as a privilege we are receiving. There is lots of politics inside the projects. Every thing is good but Salary for freshers is worst and that too with worst promotion. If you are coming from different company with 3 to 5 years of experience than it is good. Also Shift timing in many projects changes every week which badly effect your health.
