Opportunities to learn and truly contribute to client delight, personal and professional satisfaction. Work is very rewarding in that sense (not always monetary side). Job security is quite good.

Dislikes

Culture needs to improve to understand work life balance and more women inclusion. Senior leadership needs more women and more empathy. Salary across is extremely low and this is a problem across BFSI companies. Promotions are very slow and that's demotivating leading to loss of good talent.

Do not join TCS Internal IT unit ever, very fraud management and RSDO for Delhi Branch, they are poison for Employees. Specially Subir Mukherjee, Ajita Varma, Rachit Goel. They will bite you like snake, never join this unit. After completing their work, they will never identify who are you, toxic work environment and no growth at all.

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop

One such manager Mohit Pandey in TCS iON delivery team dont know the team and people management and hence give work to silent and sincere employees and other employees who resist to do work by giving any reasons like the are not understanding the process and take frequent leaves, enjoy to get salary juat for attending the office and roaming. Even after 6 months of trainings, these employyes need hand holding and spoon fiding, which the managers tell sincere employees to do, along with their overloaded tasks. Been in this company for 8 years . They have provided excellent work life balance , upskilling and decent increment over the years. Numerous projects which you can choose from if you are ready to relocate anywhere in India. Company gives equal importance to CSR , cultural activities, host marathons in most of the national and international. Very good Company for female employees.

Work Politics which is very common in all companies and favour employees based on local region. International assignments (onsites) can be tough. Need improvement in the policies and procedures . HR is not reachable and has no role when it comes to any policy related things to handle. All 5 days working from office

I am not sure about TCS culture but Culture cultivated by my GL in Frontier project Mr. ABHISHEK DIKSHIT is the worst. I never saw such humiliation, Harrasment,Hooliganism,exploitation and illiteracy in any other organisations. Regret joining a BPS after having lovely corporate experience.

Tcs as a company is a very good company but if you compare it to the project requirements it’s one of the most dissatisfying project I ever worked with because even though Tcs is offering many options but if you are in a project which requires your presence 24 seven you cannot participate in any event or any skill development.

Salary and salary hike is very less compare to others even though you are top performer and rated as "A" category employee as per their policy. If you joined as a First company of TCS then you will be paid just like a labour. People working on other organization having same experience earns more than Double compare to TCS. Nothing. Lots of team politics. Doesn't matter you work hard and over time, still you will be getting b and c bands because of the team politics and bcz management wants other ppl to work by luring them with bait in terms of band which is not even proportional to their productivity hoping that they would work. Still ppl Don't work. In a team of 6-7 ppl 2-3 ppl will be doing the work of whole team while rest just give excuses of no knowledge in the problems and that is being accepted by management. There are so many management leaks, just bcz managers and leads doesn't wanna do their job of managing at right time so they also ask ppl to work who already are over burdened. They keep encouraging this careless attitude for the employees not taking responsibility and not delivering work. No appreciation No rewards Hike almost none - 2-4% yearly Even if you are providing extended support and working in other ppl's shift bcz of their lack in learning, you are blamed for not being glued to your phone 24*7 in off time And even then there is no appreciation acknowledgement, rather you are blamed. Ppl eat your credit, asks for help all the time, most of their work is done by spoon feeding from you and even then they go behind your back to your managers completely discrediting you by which the managers even get influenced.
