As everyone mentions job security is great. Skill development and learning aspect is good but very less chance of using it practically what ever you have learnt. In TCS everything depends on what project you are in. If you are in BPS tag its better to develop skills and salary hike for BPS is very less

Before anyone reading this once again i have to mention everything depends on the project. 1. Work culture 2. Managers are toxic and they treat you badly 3. There is no use of having certain skills and not using it practically 4. They don't respect the skills set you are having 5. There is very less hike for BPS tag. 6. If you ever moved to bench, While attending project interview. Don't trust managers whatever they say and don't give approval to mail easily by trusting manager information. 7. HR works for the company and manager. Don't trust HR. To be specific TCS HRs are joke. 8. You don't have to worry about getting fired. If you behave as per their terms, then you are safe. Even if the project is ramped down they will protect you and allocate you to another project. They have an established process for this.

Dislikes

Everything except job security. Major cons 1. Dress code to follow 2. Slow process and less driven culture 3. Slow promotion 4. 4% hire every 2 years

Nothing you can expect even a salary. No ontime promotion, onsite plans,Banding, salary pay, you will see something in CTC letter but you wont get 30% min. in annual salary. HR and project team won't respond for promotions. Project won't hear your onsite expectations.

Extreme level of beauricracy , those who can see your performance cannot decide on your compensation or appraisal ratings, lot of unknown people's in critical decision making..

Some managers are giving false promise to the employees I have experienced that. Even through I work hard and gave my full time for work in the peek period. I am not recognised for the promotion.... that was very painfull. Please don't do give that much of hope to the employees

Worklife balance will be good, don't expect salary hike and promotion, if you are into management you will get salary hike and promotion with out asking your manager

Even call taxi driver is earning 3k to 4 k per day, he is happy, here even seniors will get 70 k to 80 k max - experience level will be 18 + By the name of work life balance, they won't give promotions, 10 year back what salary you will be getting, almost same salary you will be getting now, they won't ask you to go out of company You will get burnout here , after going through this tough situation you have commitments you have to go and look out for some good job outside...Read More

Only Brand name , nowadays TCS is not giving proper remuneration to Employees. Top level management and mid level Managers doing dirty politics . Not allowing juniors , senior associates to grow in most of the projects. We can work in a showroom and get proper hike every year for our qork5
