Variable pay quarter will be paid at 20 to 39percentage) even company gets good profit.Apparaisal no hike and won't give good rating although put extra work efforts for c3b grade.Appraisal hike will be 1 or 2percentage based on rating and unjustifible rate.

1) Quarterly performance pay for c3 grade and above is around 50% average 2) All wfh options revoked unless for medical reasons with doctor certificate 3) Salary hike/performance pay and other monetary benefits will get affected if wfo index is below 85% 4) Bad IT corporate culture when compared with competitors (No basic amenities such as printers/ coffee vending machines for employees, No umbrellas during rainy season to move from one building to another) 5) Poor salary hikes for c3 grade and above 6) Any device malfunction if its out of warranty then either project has to take care of the cost or employee has to pay from his pocket 7) No proper mobile apps for day to day activities apart from submitting timesheet and few other, and poor internal apps mostly 8) Microsoft office tools license given to only few above certain grade after approval otherwise employee has to content with lotus notes web app tools and outlook web app with limitied space etc and no teams if they dont have the license. 9) Very poor virtual joining process, had a very bad experience etc.,

Onshore opportunities for the talented, more learning and development initiatives for mid level managers are few items I like in TCS

Dislikes

The salary hike is not being normalised for core TCSers and external joiners and at one point of time the salary is not moving an inch for core TCSers. Others in the same experience cadre earning a lot the same time. Resulting in attrition

I work here for almost 11y and the pay scale is very very less when compare to other companies...TCS offers high pay for people who are newly joining but for the existing employees they don't consider unless management insist(rare scenario) and as usual politics plays a vital role....don't trust anyone even your friends, try to work hard and showcase yourself.

Some managers take care of their sub-ordinates & assist them during the critical times in the projects

They can concentrate on their Appraisal, Promotion, Salary part Salary structure must be based on the years of experience & also the associate performance
