- Naive Leadership Usually TaskUs has culture to have maximum internal promotions which is a good thing whether the employee have required maturity, experiance for that role does not matter. For eg an employee joined as TeamMate got promoted to a Team Lead within a year and then got promoted to a Manager by next year despite that emp loyee has 4~5 years overall experience and similart an Manager moved to a level of a Director within span of 3 years of joining the organization. This puts the business operations into a very difficult situation as the employee managing it does not possess enough experience or maturity to justify the role. - Below Average appraisals / Not a good Paymasters - Here the organization offers very less monitory hike however compensates in terms of positions offering a person growth at career level instead of salary. Similary people have got a mere 0-4% hike at an appraisals rating of 4 / 3 out of 5 leaving their employees bewildered about future growth. - New Promotions there are no nesting phase for internally promoted or externally hired employee which again puts a lot of pressure on person to bleed and learn on its own. newly promoted employee or externally hired once should be mentored and given handholding to quickly come up the learning curve. Since they heavily invest in internal promotions and belive in giving vertical growth to external hires and less on monitory hikes the knowledge & exposure become very limited and end up doing what they have already being doing in the previous roles for eg A responsibility of Directors gets tagged to Sr Manager which gets Tagged to Managers. Similary responsiblity of Sr Manager gets tagged to Managers and keeps going. Good advertisers- The Organization smartly advertises on social media platforms about their offices and work culture which attracts viewers and emoplyees which is totally opposite of what you get when you start working. Very Less Paid leaves - 12 Planned leaves 12 Casual leaves which include sick leaves. Company has heavily invested in infrastructures and offices instead of utlizing the revenue to seek more business opportunities or to reward or upskilling their existing employee. it is a good thing to have beatuiful offices it creates positive environment however to maintain these offices is really heavy on pockets.
