I am writing this for a specific process I have worked in which is SMAC. It's a social media (chat process). Please if you are being hired for this, turn around and RUNNNNNN. This job is filled with cognitive load. You have to memorize it all and even after years of work you will not remember everything because they will keep addingnewer load. You will be working on 6 live chats and 5-6 follow chats. Do not expect the chat volume to decrease as it will keep adding one after another. So what you will be doing at work: 1. Working on 6 live chats and 5 followup chats. The time to reply will be 5 mins only. 2. While handling chats you will be working on creating dispatches, remote sessions, unit replacement, refund, point of need, fusion, chat with tech expert and asset team. You will be moving around 7 to 8 tools for information. I repeat all this while you are handling 6 live chats. 3. The breaks you will be getting in 9.5 hours shift is 15-30-15 minutes. Exceeding breaks will be another issue for you. 4. Do not expect a plunge in work load as existing employees are leaving the work and there are hardly 20-30 people left that too will be resigning shortly. 5. You will be asked to login 15 mins prior your shift and if you are traveling self to the office please never expect to return on time as you will be sitting for next 2-3 hours just to complete the work. 5. On the chat tool you will be chatting, writing notes, applying correct macro and the worst CPCL. The chats you will be handling will be from these platforms Apple, Google, Khorus, Support Assist and WhatsApp. 6. CPCL (Check Previous Case Logs) - This seems to easy. However, this will include reading the entire conversation, ready entire notes, checking the case and asset details in Salesforce. I repeat again all this while you will be taking 6 live chats (you may also be on remote session, tech expert chat or asset team chat and might also be working on dispatches of previous chats). 7. For support you will be having L2 on the floor but they are even working on multiple things. Do not expect any help regarding the work from TL or manager as they never ever have worked in the same process, so they really fo not know much. 8. Behaviour of the management is such that you will never feel to be an employee, managers walk around the floor as if they are the proprietor of the company. 9. You can count the tenured employees on fingers. 10. While working on this you will be even expected to check the email of TL and quality. 11. The cognitive load and complexity is such that you have to complete multiple things to achieve one simple task. 12. Quality team will be marking you on various aspects, please do not answer them regarding 6 live chats as they know it and there are hardly anyone who themselves have worked on the chat. So they will not understand anything. 13. You might be having a Fun Friday during training. However, going into production there will be no recreational activities for people working at SMAC. 14. If you ever think that you can have a small breather to have a word with your colleagues you are soooooo WRONG. The nature of work is such that you will not even get the time to turn your head around. 16. On the other hand there are different policies regarding work for different regions so this only add up to your cognitive load. For example - You updated the contacts, followed the procedure and booked a dispatch using a dedicated tool, at the end you will come to know that it was all wrong as this particular dispatch cannot be booked using this tool and you will be starting over again. 17....Read More

Working at Concentrix has been a challenging experience, and I feel compelled to share my observations to help others make an informed decision. 1. Work-Life Balance: The work-life balance at Concentrix is virtually nonexistent. The 9.5-hour workdays, unique to the company in India, are not only exhausting but also violate standardlabor policies. Employees are allowed only two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break, for which they must seek permission to take. Moreover, staying back after shifts for meetings has become the norm, further eroding personal time and creating undue stress. 2. Salary & Benefits: The fixed salary is noticeably below industry standards, and the issue of nonpayment for overtime work is concerning. Employees are often forced to work beyond their shifts without adequate compensation. Policies like "Blackout Days," introduced during festivals to restrict leave, exacerbate dissatisfaction. Even taking sick or emergency leave is an ordeal, with managers expecting prior notice for unforeseen circumstances—an unreasonable expectation in any work environment. 3. Promotions/Appraisal: Annual appraisals are more of a myth at Concentrix. Despite being a top performer, I received only a 2% salary increase over two years. The company frequently modifies its policies to limit employee eligibility for appraisals, creating frustration and dissatisfaction among the workforce. 4. Skill Development/Learning: There are no avenues for skill development or professional growth. The demanding work environment leaves no time or opportunity for employees to enhance their skills or broaden their knowledge base. 5. Work Satisfaction: Work satisfaction is minimal, especially for those in operations. Employees are treated more like machines than humans, with frequent and impractical changes to KPIs driven by client demands. This creates a high-pressure environment and leaves employees feeling unvalued and unsupported. 6. Company Culture: The company culture is riddled with bias, especially when it comes to growth and promotions. Favoritism is prevalent, and deserving employees often find themselves overlooked for career advancement. Conclusion: Overall, Concentrix has significant room for improvement in multiple areas, particularly in addressing labor law compliance, employee well-being, and fairness in workplace policies. While the company may have its strengths, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I cannot recommend it to those seeking a balanced and fulfilling work environment....Read More

Management work culture. You will get 4 different shifts in all 4 weeks in a month. I had a miscarriage due to rash driving of CONCENTRIX TRANSPORT. To shut my mouth management sent me for 6 weeks leave and after that they raise AOD and block my salary . This is the treatment you can expect from CNX Management. Reason given to me that the manager forgot to notify the HR and transport team that a pregnant lady is traveling in the cab. I had to repay concentrix by sacrificing the life of my child . My mistake was that I came for a job in Concentrix and I lost my child due to this decision. Company did not took ant medical responsibility towards the miscarriage I had. They were in hurry to send me home in that condition from office the day I met with the cab accident. Married women should give a second thought before joining this company. Now I am a mental health patient getting panic attacks frequently after that cab accident and am on medication. My regular life got shattered and facing too much tonting from my in-laws due to this miscarriage. They blamed me for this loss of child because it was my decision to work in Concentrix. I don't know if I will ever be able to get back to my regular life. I already have a 8 year old boy who is a cerebral palsy seizure disorder special child and he cannot speak too. So as a parents I and my husband had this second hope which I lost as miscarriage due to Concentrix transport and management. They are the killers for my child.......Read More

Managers and the team leaders are shit, I worked hard and got the top performance too but because a manager's girlfriend was on the same floor and even her manager was the boyfriend she got promoted. Even if there was any wrong work done by her it was completely ignored by the quality management too, there is no growth there, promotions are already selected by the management so that means you're just stuck on the same role there. I worked for 2 years and they won't allow you any emergency leaves too, even the payout is very less, now the company has started to provide both side transport facility. If you can handle the partiality then you can consider this company but I won't really suggest it to anyone. Best would be to have a work from home opportunity with the better salary and that's it. If you wish to take leave then let them know a week before or you will be marked absent and salary will be deducted....Read More
