It's good to gain initial experience.

Dislikes

Management uses profanity on the floor to the employees be it supervisor or associate. They pressurized employee to do overtime without any extra payment. They don't show mercy to the associates if they are unwell. One can never get promotion or will be selected through IJP cause only politics and favorism works here.

They are paying you for working 8 hours but they will your 10-12 hours with briefings, sessions and other useless stuffs. I have worked there just for some months and I really reached to the conclusion as every senior goes to the office to have fun, for fooling around and for shouting here & there. No transparency about leaves, salary structure, attendance. It is not #starteklife. It is #toxiclife

The employees of the voice process were amazing even though the management was pathetic!

The non voice process was the worst place to work! Employees were all mostly uneducated and not qualified for the job and were mostly localities, getting along with them is a hideous task.

No tissue paper, no toi*et paper, Locker is not available for the employees to keep their belongings, No place to keep the bag, No celebration of Festival, No decoration on National holidays. People calls Startek as MNC but it is not, neither the work environment nor the people of Startek. Managers don't know how to speak and they call themselves "Manager". There is toxic work culture in Startek also as we see in many firms. The performanc marks are as such and elevated as it is impossible to acivleve it on regular basis as this is an tactic of every company out there giving you opportunity to work.
