Previously we used to have only manager review for appraisal, but they have introduced technical evaluation to employees with specialist grade and linked it to the appraisal which in my opinion is not required as the employees feel demotivated. if they were not able perform well in evaluation, they might not be getting proper incentives even though they performed well at the project level.
