Need guidelines/suggestions.

Hi folks, I have been working as a backend developer for the last 3 years. When I joined my company I had 4 lpa, now I have only 5 lpa. I got promoted to senior software engineer from software engineer. It's like a dry promotion. For the last 3 months I have been proactively looking for a job change. But not receiving a single interview call. I am updating my naukri profile daily. My primary skills are node.js, express.js, postgresql, jest and Secondary skills are Python and Pythons FastAPI framework And also I know the fundamentals of AWS like APIG, Lamda, cloudwatch, secrets manager, ecs fargate... I have to serve a 90 day notice period which is non negotiable. Please let me know if there is anything to learn or to be done from my side to get a good opportunity with good ctc. Thanks.....

I worked in the Pre-Covid era so here are some pros:- The Environment is pretty chill on all the projects. Immediate On-Site Opportunities for almost everyone. Comfort Zone establishment. Majority of the people leave at 5:00 WFH support project wise.

The team members and Leads are supportive and very understanding of any medical emergencies. Leaves are sanctioned without any hassle for such circumstances.

There are many issues here. However, I shall outline only 2 of them, which are the most important to me. (Although this totally depends on the Individual's BU) 1. The work life balance is outright horrible. We are always working on a knife's edge and constantly working on weekends due to mismanagement and unplanned client deliveries. Working hours sometimes exceed 12 am to sometimes even 2 am on adhoc basis. There is no understanding that we are people and not machines that we can sit for 14-15 hours a day. 2. Poor quality of work. Most of the times we are just sending emails and getting followups and having discussions which never get anywhere. No real learning opportunities are there (In terms of programming and other technical skills and abilities). We have to learn everything on our own....Read More
