There are some likes if not none for learning opportunity by applying to courses.
There is a lot to dislike. The promotions are really bad. Compensation to work ratio is very poor and you will always feel under paid. You can sell samosa and earn more than working here. The managers know that you should be promoted and your compensation should be revised but they will not do it.

It has good work-life balance,and one gets opportunities to grow and learn. We get free cab service and complimentary snacks and food for shift employees. The managers (in my current project ) are really supportive and help in resolving all issues.
Once we are on bench, the bench manager,HR and learning representatives don’t support much.They don’t even reply until it’s very end of the bench period just to show bare minimum effort. The appraisals since the merger with Mindtree have been really low and it’s a bit demoralising.

I am just about to complete 2 months here! So, not a great sample size but so far it has been good. It seems light and not unnecessarily strict with policies. I like connectivity - wherever you are in the building, as soon as you open the laptop, you are connected to a strong WiFi.
Well, the seat booking and check-in and checkout requirements can be looked at from flexibility point of view. Parking availability at a couple of Kolkata offices (Adventz and Merlin) can be looked at - also a real-time way to look at available slots so that people can drive to office or a nearby parking spot is looked for.
