I was recently selected for the Senior Associate Consultant role at Infosys, and I had high expectations for the opportunity. However, my experience has been very disappointing. After receiving the offer, I was asked to resign from my previous position as soon as possible, which I did. But just one or two days before my scheduled joining, Infosys suddenly halted my onboarding without providing any valid reason. My advice to those considering joining Infosys is: do not resign from your current job until all your documents are approved and verified. Infosys can unexpectedly withdraw their offer and provide unexpected reasons or excuses for rejection, leaving you in a difficult and uncertain position. The higher-level people, such as the project manager and team lead, lack knowledge and are in their positions only because of their comfort zone. Suppose a candidate has knowledge about a particular technology but lacks hands-on experience because their previous company did not involve that technology. During the client and screening interview, the way these interviewers speak is ridiculous. They say things like, "You do not have knowledge and all," and expect candidates to know everything and have practical experience from their previous organization. Infosys, please work on this. Not every person has real-time experience in the technology you require in the project and just because of that you reject the candidate for projet allocation,suppose candidate reject the project then you expect valid reason please provide vice versa equality in project rejection with valid reason....Read More

No increment last year. Till now there is no communication about hike. There expectations are high from us but they don't care about our expectations.

Very good campus,looks like heaven and very less micro-management also.

They assume the client as God ,if client gives bad feedback then the management will not at all listen to your explanation and the makes it a toxic environment.rest all are very good,till the time client is giving you good feedback, Infosys will treat you as its kids.

Company culture is good, but the family members in one project and starting politics. They are behaving like Hitler and no company policy later and their own policy if someone raised concern then torture to that person all the day. With this all team member resigned an snow happy with their work and personal life as well.

The company is very good in terms of work culture and learning curve. The campuses are good, the support staff is good. There are lot of programs going on for skill development and a lot of programs going on for personality development. Good onsite opportunities

Dislikes

Salary Hikes are low, There is no cab facility for employees, Transport facilities are paid, Canteens don't serve proper food. The promotion structure sucks, they have "a" and "b" at each career level and we have no salary hikes when our cadre moves from a->b

Disappointed with appraisals. If you are ambitious then please don’t join this company. Here the life is very monotonous. This company is good for female who are looking for maternal leaves or 50+ people who wants work life balance and just want to relax and spend rest of their life peacefully.

Job security is much higher than any other companies in India. The campus is huge and you can have good time in campus.
