No proper hike, and communication part is the worse in my project and company. Manager don't even discuss about the annual rating and no proper feedback.

Way too big an organisation to generalize anything but I feel better work life balance compared to smaller organisations.

No hikes, no preferred location, you'll have to relocate, minimal say in what skill you want to work on as a fresher.

Trainings and Knowledge Base is really good at the company. Best place for a great learning curve and start to the career. I also have a good work life balance here. The culture is great. Everything depends on the project you get. Since it is a large organisation one has to create their own visibility. I have had a great experience here overall.

Salary hikes are very very slow. Secondly, i have received 20 -25% hike as well but the process involved is such a drag. Promotions are slow too. Despite being an outstanding performer for 2 years consecutively, i have not been promoted once in the last 3.5 years. Only received a progression, which is not a job level change.

No career growth, no salary hike for employees for the past 3 years, yet they send an email stating that they are increasing food court prices because they haven't done so in the last 2 years. What about employees' salaries?

Highly toxic work culture. Unit heads run the units as their private enterprises. Very fragile egos. Asking any question can be a reason enough for them to spoil your career. Unit heads create fake proofs for promoting their favorites and also they do the same when they have to spoil anyone's career. HR is for manager protection andnot for employee. You will join and leave the company at the same salary. Employee going on sick leave is also used against them during appraisals. Initiatives like IJP, salary correction and appraisals are all hoax. For internal job posting IJP they offer standard hike of 17% and move all increment into performance bonus and retirals. Your in hand will be less post promotion....Read More

Doing unproductive tasks in the project. Productive work will be 30-40 % . Rest is unproductive work like excel work, documenting etc. Career is doomed working with such organisation. The worst is the management. They give a deaf ear to our expectations, issues etc. Always lazying and only waking up when the client makes any sound. Such an unprofessional organisation.

1. Finacle unit is the worst unit in Infosys 2.Once you are into one project then the only way to come out of that project is Resignation. They will not let you release even after 2 years also. By mistakenly, if you ask release then managers will start targetting you and will mark you as bad performer even though you are doing goodthroughout all cycles. 3. Another worst thing is no salary hike for the last 2 years. 4.There will be lot of work pressure where you can not attend any internal trainings as well. Compensation review is not transparent and salary revision is not given each year. Employees are always confused with what's being projected in media versus internal communications. If you are expecting performance salary hikes each year , this may mentally be disturbing.

Dislikes

Project allocation for lateral takes huge time. Only 5 days leave for each quarter of month. Very Less pay even for niche technology. 90% project here are support role no development work. Hike is very less sometimes no hike also. Offer letter shows high pay but in-hand salary will be very very less.
