Extra work hours, no compoff and pay for Saturday's support. Terrible managers who does not give leave eventhough you have 101 degree celsius fever. No appreciation and lot of politics. Worst management. They only care about the client and not about the employee's life. Due to stress, i resigned from Infosys without any offer.

Job security wise and learning wise okay.

Dislikes

No hikes for multiple consecutive years for laterals, atleast 3 to 4 years, need to be very hard internally. Lot of politics, onsite only for who put down the papers. Unit work will be more than the project related work or sometimes equal. Good Ratings are not given eventhough you perform very better. Mediocre management and various pathetic company policies.

Worst work culture. Team members used abusive Language curse words. I handled complete project responsibility of project we were team of 4 but 0% contribution from team members I have handled all the development and all the work . Team members only used to talk too much and steal credit actually doing nothing. 3 members got paid for free over 8 months. When I brought up team dynamics with manager it has not been taken care and dismissed as joke . I brought this up many times in 9 months but it was not taken seriously. So I resigned. Inequality in salary for same designation. Those who stick with company can expect an average salary hike of 3 to 4% only. Very low onsite salary. Your growth depends on the unit you belongs.

Early 4 percentage hile in basic pay on take home salary, at least inflation percentage must be given. If you are promoted then 10-15 percentage that is also when you are in low salary. When you came as experienced for some good package you will be promoted but without hike.

Way too big an organisation to generalize anything but I feel better work life balance compared to smaller organisations.

There is nothing to like in this company. Instead of giving salary hike they waste the money on destroying and re building the Buildings. They have lots of rules for male employees. Need to ware shoes. And I mean proper shoes. Even in rainy days they don't give you entry if you don't ware shoes. They don't trust employees there are check points every 500 meters. I work in Wongdoody-Infosys. Wongdoody is the design team. The work culture at Infosys overall is good. The work culture at Wongdoody-Infosys if slightly better. Work life balance is good.

The salary is so damn low! Plus they didn't give hike to folks past 2 years. On the other hand, they are hiring more people - I don't know what's the logic. Projects are okay-ish. You will get a great project very rarely.

Trainings and Knowledge Base is really good at the company. Best place for a great learning curve and start to the career. I also have a good work life balance here. The culture is great. Everything depends on the project you get. Since it is a large organisation one has to create their own visibility. I have had a great experience here overall.

Salary hikes are very very slow. Secondly, i have received 20 -25% hike as well but the process involved is such a drag. Promotions are slow too. Despite being an outstanding performer for 2 years consecutively, i have not been promoted once in the last 3.5 years. Only received a progression, which is not a job level change.
